Nine men have sworn their very lives to protect this Dojo.  Some are from Cephiro,
but three are from Autozam and one is from Fahren.  They are:

GURU CLEF (The little guy up front with the lavender hair)
The Supreme Yil of Cephiro.  
His mission: To guide the Pillar who rules Cephiro and to hand-train     the Magic Knights.
Seven hundred forty-five years old and doesn't look like it.
(Lucky dude...)

FERIO (Dapper chap with the green hair)
Brother to Emeraude, late Pillar of Cephiro.
His mission: To help the Magic Knights in their quest (Fuu Hououji in   particular!)
Used to be a mercenary with the motto "Food and Revenge" - don't give him food, he'll seek revenge.

KAILU LANTIS (Serious looking guy with dark hair)
Brother to Sol Zagato, late Cephiran High Priest/Holy Knight
His mission: To end the Legend of the Magic Knights with his own      hands.
Gloomy, grumpy, and gorgeous-looking.  A match for Alcione?
Well, possibly...  With Hikaru?  Uh, next question, please!

GEO METRO (Huge guy whose fist rests on Lantis's shoulder - OUCH!)
Second-in-command of the Autozam battleship NSX
His mission: To keep his commander out of trouble; babysitting the     commander!
He may be your archtypical big guy, but he can't drink!  Candy bars,anyone?

LAFARGA (Huge blond guy)
Cephiran mercenary cum Palace guard
His mission: He used to help Zagato make a mess of Cephiro.  These days, he guards it.
He's hitched to the seductive Chizetan dancing sorceress Caldina.  (Lucky dude!)

BAL ASCOT (Slender dude with brown hair and red hat)
Cephiran court sorcerer
His mission: When he was a kid, it was being one of Zagato's             minions.  Nowadays, he's Clef's student in sorcery.
He loves Umi Ryuuzaki with a passion, but isn't quite sure how she feels about him!

ZAZU TORQUE (Kid with the white duds and brown hair)
Chief mechanic on NSX
His mission: To make all repairs on NSX and to get drunk every once in a while.
A kid who drinks more than everyone else...  go figure!

SANG YUNG (The little boy with dots for eyes)
Right-hand man of Princess Aska of Fahren
His mission:  To protect Her Highness from harm and to be her            favorite whipping-boy. (OUCH!)
Likes Aska a lot, but she'll never give him the time of day.  (Peach donuts, yes.  The time, no.)

EAGLE VISION (The slender blond youth in the middle)
Crown Prince of Autozam and Commanding General of NSX
His mission: To conquer Cephiro, become the Pillar, and marry Hikaru Shidou (Hopefully!!!)
Was diagnosed to have a severe illness, feared dead.  In the 3rd
MKR OAV he returns as Emeraude's twin brother!  
Some guys have all the luck...  Right, Lantis?
