In Memory of Hershey

This Page is made in Dedication to the loving Hershey.
(December 1st, 1996-March 27th, 1999)

Hershey was, and always will be remembered as, A Very Special rabbit here at Bright Day's rabbitry.

Though Bright Day's has been around for a while, Hershey was the First Angora ever to live here. She also has a very special place in my heart because through her I met my best friend.

It is powerful to realize, that even a life that doesnt seem important, Means so much and can change you so drastically. Hershey was always there to cheer me up, and make me laugh. To Snuggle when I was feeling blue, and always let me know she cared. Though she was a gorgeous rabbit on the show table, it was her love that made her so great.

It is with a heavy heart that I make this page. Hershey only being slightly over 2 years (2 and 4 months).

Looking back I still remember when I first brought her home. My father had no idea what he was in store for. It was over a week before he knew I had the Long-Haired beauty. Within minutes of her being home, My mother and neighbors fell in love with her. She was, and always will be so beautiful.

Hershey leaves behind 7 surviving children. 2 Champions, and 13 legs between them all. A Best In Show winner Fiver, and 3 Reserve Best In Shows (Julie, Fiver, and Lancelot). Hershey Herself winning 2 Reserve Best In Shows, and a Best Four Class.

There will always be a special place in my heart for her that can never be filled. But it is left open to her memory, and the happiness she brought us all.

Please take a moment of your time, and Dedicate it to the memory of Hershey, and all the rabbits in the world that are just like her.

Cheers to you Hershey, Thank you for what you have given us!
