This is a photo of the recent close passage (in my case) of the Moon and Saturn. I bracketed a roll and a half of film trying to get a balance of exposures for the bright limb of the moon and the relatively faint Saturn. I don't know exactly how long this exposure was.

This was about as close as the two got and I could see the motion of the moon over the course of several minutes. It really gives a feeling of depth to be able to see two bodies of such different distances passing so close together.
