This was taken towards the end of Hale-Bopp's evening apparition. It is setting into the evening twilight over a nearby farmhouse. The green glow is from a very needless mercury vapor streetlight lighting up his backyard. It is one of very few lights that mar the otherwise pristene night skies in this area.

By noting the position of the Perseus double cluster between the tails, you can get an idea of the comet's progress over the course of several nights that passed between this shot and the previous one.
