(Israel is a parliamentary democracy. That means Knesset watchers need to keep up with many more than two parties since every political party in Israel that gains a certain minimum number of votes will have some representation in the Knesset. It also means that one must keep up with the various coalitions of Knesset members since it very seldom that one political party has an outright voting majority.
