King Abdullah
(For many years the heir to the throne of Jordan had been King Hussein's brother. But, just a few weeks before his death, Hussein suddenly designated his son Abdullah as heir to the throne. Abdullah is trying to follow is father's footsteps and bring peace to the region. He is a young, handsome Jordanian, and his wife is a Palestinian. They are a very engaging family. Abdullah's wife is very much like a suburban American "soccer mom." By the way, Abdullah's father, King Hussein, was also married to an outsider. His wife, at the time of his death, was Queen Noor, who was actually a blonde-haired, blue-eyed American.)
