The HouseWife's Escape





A quick glance in
the mirror by the door
left her feeling older
than she really was.

The kids, the pets,
the chores of life
had aged this once
shiney gem.

Her place for years
it seemed
was behind the kitchen sink,
or bending over a laundry hamper,
or making a bed.

"Can't be!" she thought,
"Not Me!"
And her heart began to plan
what she would do next.

"The kids will stay
at Grandma's tonight,"
"And I am headed to the mall!"

So she sought a special salon
to bring out that Young Woman
STILL alive within her.







And....after....

....there she was....

Still beautiful

Still fresh!

"I will serve a dish tonight
we've not had in a while,"
she thought.
"One of passion....one of intensity!"

"Oh, but will he notice?"

"Will this work?"








~ The shrimp is ready ~
~ Wine is chilled ~

He comes through the door...

same way as always

same time as always

same look as always

...BUT...


then he SEES her

and everything changes,

And not only is

SHE young again!
