Bach & Broccoli is the award winning story of Fanny, an orphan girl who is forced to leave her sick grandmother and live with a bachelor uncle. Although Uncle John protests, Fanny moves in along with her pet skunk, Broccoli. At first the new roommates find this situation difficult. Uncle John is all business as he practices for his upcoming International Bach organ competition. Fanny is all little girl, adding stray animals to her ever escaping collection. Still, the heart warming relationship that develops is as universal as love itself. When the authorities decide to place Fanny in a foster home with "proper family environment," Uncle John suddenly realizes just how empty his life had been without her. A changed man, he finally marries his long time girlfriend and together they adopt Fanny. Bach & Broccoli is wonderfully wholesome educational fun for the entire family. It illustrates how the everyday pressures of life sometimes cloud what is really important.
