Tom Berenger stars in this twisting tale of murder and deception about a priest who becomes involved with a woman on the run from the Mafia. Father Michael (Berenger) is a dedicated, streetwise priest whose best friend is a narcotics cop and whose father is a Mafia don. Angela (Daphne Zuniga) is the young dancer who is with an important mobster when he's gunned down in his motel room. Afraid for her own life, Angela turns to Father Michael for help and protection. But in the ensuing battle to save her, Father Michael is driven to the ultimate test of faith by temptations of the flesh as he finds himself falling in love. Co-starring Paul Dooley and Dane Clark, Last Rites is a sizzling drama full of deception, passion and Mafia vengeance.
