A trio of bumbling, down-and-out buddies make a comically inept foray into the world of crime in this irresistibly off-beat tale of big-time dreams and small-time larceny starring William Forsythe (The Untouchables, The Rock, Raising Arizona) and Frances McDormand (Fargo, Mississippi Burning/i>). From their first attempted heist, New Jersey chums Sid (Forsythe), Russ (Vincent Gallo) and Jerry (Adam Trese) display an uncanny sense for criminal misadventure; instead of chiseling their way into a jewelry store, they discover too late they've busted into the bakery next door. Undeterred, the three would-be crooks set their sights on robbing an armored car as it picks up cash from a local grocery store. When the big day finally comes, their supposedly non-violent plan takes a dangerous detour, as the three friends find themselves forced to choose between being outlaws...or being heroes.
