When a four-girl, one-guy rock group called The Mystery gets its first gig at a club, it's not just a chance to perform, it's also an opportunity to get out of the inner city...and see what life is all about. Fresh out of high school, the group spends the summer playing a club in an exclusive beach resort. There they find romance, adventure and, for lead singer Jennie Lee (Justine Bateman), a dilemma: to pursue her budding career or return to school. Justine Bateman makes an impressive film debut as Jennie, the street-smart leader of The Mystery. Liam Neeson co-stars as a faded Sixties songwriter who gives The Mystery their club job. Brash, energetic and packed with rock favorites such as "Satisfaction", "IKO, IKO" and "Dedicated to the One I Love", this is a movie that delivers total Satisfaction.
