A DAY after their senior counterparts suffered a 1-0 loss to Morocco, Trinidad and Tobago Under-23 football team suffered a similar defeat against Denmark's Olympic team. This was in a warm-up match at the Concacaf Centre of Excellence at Macoya last night.

The Danes didn't waste much time before getting down to business as Daniel Jensen headed past goalkeeper Kelvin Jack in the second minute for the eventual winner.T&T struggled to mount a proper attack for a goal in the first half leaving Danish custodian Jacob Kragh a mere spectator between the uprights.

The young Soca Warriors looked more purposeful in attack after the break and had the visitors' defence under some pressure at the closing quarter of the match. Substitute Joseph Peters' shot from the edge of the18-yard box which Kragh pushed away to his right was T&T''s nearest chance at goal.

Both teams clash again in a second match at the same venue tomorrow (Friday) evening from 6 pm.
