Connection outgun PFCC

W CONNECTION yesterday defeated Point Fortin Civic Centre 3-2 for their second consecutive win in the Craven A Professional Football League at Guaracara Park.

Last Wednesday W Connection beat Police 4-1 in their opening encounter.

Yesterday they had to overcome a tenacious Black City team who equalised twice before falling to a 78th minute strike by St Lucian Earl Jean.

Jerome Lee Wah's 35th minute opener was levelled four minutes later by Sean de Souza. Elver put Connection ahead again before Russell Pope again equalised for PFCC.

Then W Connection had their captain and national player, Reynold Carrington sent off for a second bookable offence.

But even with a man short for the last 35 minutes, W Connection got the winner through Jean.

Score: W Connection 3 (Jerome Lee Yah, Titus Elver, Earl Jean) v Pt Fortin Civic Centre 2 (Sean de Souza, Russell Pope).
