Who I Am

Many of you have wondered "Just who is this that is desperately trying to get my attention here, anyway?"
Well, here I am to answer this and other questions.
Just watch - look - and don't bother to take notes it will all be right here. If you have other questions just drop me a line sometime.

O.K. Here we go--- I am me. Thank you, very much. And check back for further information.

LINKS THAT HELP DEFINE WHO I AM

POST OFFICE - Who I work for and I don't even have a gun.

PROMISELAND - The greatest church in the world. YES, IT IS. A division of The World of Pentecost. At Easter time in the PROMISELAND THEATRE we present "JESUS THE MIRACLE" one of the best passion plays of our time.

AUSTIN, TX - The city in which I live. A beautiful city. Growing. Lots of hwy construction. But, still a good place to live. Where the Mexican Free-tailed Bats fly out each night from under the Congress Avenue bridge. Austin even built a monument to the bats. Tourism, isn't it great.

JOHN BOY AND BILLY - The early morning radio show I used to listen to at work until some intelligent person decided to take it off my local radio station.

PAUL HARVEY - Who I turn to at 7:30 am while listening to John Boy and Billy.

DR. LAURA - An advice radio show I listen to once in a while on AM radio, which I can't pick up inside the Post Office building, Too much steel you know. Maybe someday she will get on FM in Austin and I will be able to pick her up inside the building. I am my kids daddy.

THE BIBLE CONNECTION - A page I made to help in studying the Bible. The main source of WHO I AM is the author and finisher of my faith.

L. M. BOYD - purveyor of miscellany information, I read his words daily. You can too.

YAHOO picks of the week - Inspiration for exploration of the NET - fodder for the mind.

QUOTES FROM STAR TREK'S MR. SPOCK - I'm a closet trekkie, I don't go out of the way to hide it, but I don't go out and dress like Spock and Capt. Kirk either. But I go into withdrawl if I miss a show and I am reading the Star Trek books constantly.

DIABETES - What I found out I had in Dec of '94. I always knew I was sweet. Just didn't know how much. Now I do. Some day I will make a page with the whole course of my fight with this disease. It's almost interesting. If you want me to email me.

FAVORITE CARTOON -

SNOOPY AND CHARLIE BROWN - The first cartoon I absolutely fell in love with, I identified with Charlie Brown. I even got good at drawing snoopy on top of his doghouse. This link also takes you to many other comics...ENJOY

FAVORITE SCI-FI WRITER -

ROBERT HEINLEIN - Probably the best Sci-Fi author of all time I remember when I was about twelve my dad left a copy of "Glory Road" lying around and I picked it up and read it. I think I've read just about all of his books. Here's some quotes of his...ENJOY

FAVORITE MOVIE -

?2001 - A SPACE ODYSSEY - I became fascinated with this movie when it first came out. I saw it at the theatre about nine times and have seen it in TV reruns at least that many times. It is the only movie I have seen at the theatre more than one time.

FAVORITE PHILOSOPHER/WRITER -

ROBERT FULGHUM - Author of "All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten","Maybe (Maybe Not)","Uh, Oh" and others. Just read 'em you'll probably like them too.

MY FAVORITE SCI-FI SERIES -

STAR TREK - Of course, TV, Movies and for the last couple of years in book form. I don't remember seeing "The Original Series" on TV when it first came out, but I probably did. I kept up on the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager, If I wasn't home to watch when they were on I stuck a tape in the VCR. I LIKE THEM ALL!!! The book form has added a few new series that are interesting also. A few are "Captain's Table", "New Frontier" and "Day of Honor" The Star Trek books have started me reading again. Now I read and enjoy all kinds of books not just Star Trek
