MAJOR EDWARD C. GREEN
1917 - 2000


Edward C. Green was born on Sunday, April 29, 1917. He was nearly 83 years old at the time of his death.

As a Captain, Ed served as the Commander of Headquarters Battery, 29th Field Artillery, and was a veteran of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, at Utah Beach on June 6, 1944. After the war ended, he continued his service with the Army, retiring with the rank of Major.

Edward C. Green passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2000 in Santa Clara, California, one week before his 83rd birthday. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Lou.
