THE ISLAMIC PERSONALITY

Compiled by
Muhammad Sharif Said ibn Philip Cherry

With the resurgence of Islam amongst the Muslim youth today, it is unfortunate to observe that many of those who fervently call to Islam, and those who attach themselves to Islam are in fact far removed from the true Islamic personality.

So beautiful is the Islamic personality, that it led many a non-Muslim into Islam - yet the callers of today mar the beauty of Islam and deter the people with their un-islamic characters. Hence in this prevalent situation, much effort and education is needed to filter this blemished personality from all characteristics alien to Islam and to supersede it with the noble Islamic personality mentioned therein.

We ask Allah, the Greatest One who responds, that this book becomes a firm pivot through which the reader cultivates his soul and hastens to emulate the Prophet and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) so that he can adorn and refine his personality upon their true way, following it and subsequently calling to it. Ameen.
