Notes on Major Compositions listed by composer ~ I ~ Ibert 'Divertisement' This suite is derived from the incidental music Ibert wrote for a 1929 drama. The suite dates from 1930. Ibert 'Escales' "Ports of Call" (A KAL') Composed in 1922, following a trip to Rome and Mediterranean ports. It is a musical travelog inspired by his Mediterranean cruise to three very different ports.
