The child that is being held in the middle is Phillip Monroe.  My grandmother mentioned that if you look closely at all the pictuers of him, he is always being held tightly.  He never wanted to hold still.   Wonder now as I look if my grandfather, Phillip Russell,  wasn't trying to perhaps choke him? ::chuckles::  One of these men is a Westphal.  He married Phillip Russell's sister, Lenora.  I am not sure of the other one.  They grew up together in Lake Orion, Michigan.  This picture would have been taken after 1935.
