Come gather near To the smoldering fire The embers, aflame Will console and inspire ! Sit in the glade When the faery muse comes Magick is made by the flick of our tonques ! Oh ! Dance with the sidhe Under silvery moon ! Word woven trance is the light of their boon ! Bear ye hearts of all mortal men Dance with the fey in the boughs of Green Glen ! ~by: Ferrashynn~

The night was but a chin of gold A night or two ago, And how she turns her perfect face upon the world below. Her forehead is of amplest blonde, Her cheek like beryl stone; Her eye unto summer dew The likest I have ever known Her lips of amber never part; But what must be the smile Upon her friend she could bestow Were such her silver will ! And what a privledge to be But the remotest star ! For certinly her way might pass Beside your twinkling door. Her bonnet is the filament The universe her shoe. The stars the trinkets at her belt Her dimities of blue. ~By: Emily Dickinson~

We who are old, old and gay, O' so old ! Thousands of years, thousands of years, If all were told: Give to these children, new from the world, Silence and love; And the long dew-dripping hours of night, And the stars above; Gie to these children, new from the world, Rest far from men. Is anything better, anything better ? Tell us it then. Us who are old, old and gay, O' so old ! Thousands of years, thousands of years If all were told. ~By: William Butler Yeats~

Round and round the faery ring We danced through the fields of rye And then the sidhe began to sing I feel as though death were nigh. Then under the hill we went Into the land of the fae A world sprang up to meet us The place where the faery play. To the Queen they did guide me A magnificent hall of trees And thus I bowed boldy lowly to her The faery were on their knees. Well wether was enchantment I could not answer ye I was captured in a trance By the loveliest of the Sidhe. Alas for Midsummer's Eve The dance of the Daoine Sidhe Ceased as the People of Peace Followed their Queen through the sea. Alone I stand on the field Leaning on a black thorn tree Peering out over the ocean Smiling upon the blessed sidhe. ~Author Unknown~
