Comments: Nancy Burgin had three husbands, Benjamin Harris being her first (?).
Polly Harris must be a product of that union.

John Harris was married to Margaret (Peggy) Maupin.

This appears in Madison Co. marriage records:

Harris, James & Harris, Mourning 10 May 1814, Samuel Harris bondsman;
Isabelle Bennett, mother of bride; Overton Harris, guardian of groom.

(Vockery & Vockery MADISON COUNTY, KENTUCKY MARRIAGE RECORDS, VOL. I, 1786-1822, p. 37)
(Had Isabelle been married previously to a Harris, or had Mourning Harris been born before
Isabelle married?)

In the Madison Co. Marriage Books is a marriage 2 Feb 1790 of William Harris to Anna Oldham,
Richard Oldham, bondsman, who may be Richard "Ready Money" Oldham, the bride's probable brother.
Jesse Oldham, an early settler of Madison Co., originally of Caswell Co., NC, may have been Anna's
father.

The bride of Samuel Harris is said to have been Nancy Wilkerson.

This marriage bond in Madison Co.:

Barmabas Harris & Elizabeth Oldham, 18 Apr 1803; Samuel Harris, bondsman; Richard Oldham,
father of bride. Return 19 Apr 1803. (Vockery & Vockery)

Overton Harris was married to Nancy Oldham in Apr 1810.
Her father was Richard (Ready-Money) Oldham.
