Ingredients: | ||||
1 | Cup | Butter (Unsalted) | ||
1 | Cup | Butter Mints (Crushed) | ||
2 | Cup | Flour (All Purpose) | ||
1 | Tbs. | Sugar | ||
Instructions: | ||||
1. Beat butter in a mixing bowl w/ electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. | ||||
2. Add mints and beat until fluffy. | ||||
3. Beat in as much of the flour as you can. Stir in remaining flour. | ||||
4. Cover and chill 1 hour. | ||||
5. Roll or pat dough on waxed paper into a 9" square. | ||||
6. Sprinkle with sugar. | ||||
7. Cut into 1 1/2" squares. | ||||
8. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. | ||||
9. Using small cookie cutter press a design on the surface of dough. | ||||
10. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown. Do not over bake. | ||||
11. Cool on rack. | ||||
