Coming back from Alaska we went
down the coast highway.
Thru the Red-Wood National Park Here are a
few pictures of what we seen.

The age of the Redwood from which
this cross-section was cut,is figured
by counting the annual rings of growth.

ANOTHER GIANT RED WOOD

These loggers climbed into this under
cut to emphasize the enormity of the
trunk of this giant Cal.Redwood.These men are
both over 6ft tall.The diameter of the tree is 13 1/2feet.

I wanted so bad to stop before we
crossed over the Golden Gate Bridge but we
were in the middle lane traffic was heavy &
we couldn`t get overso had to keep going
here we are driving over it.

From there we cut over to rt.99
to Bakersfield then to Tehachapi
where we visited my sister in her Mt cabin

over the border of Calif.in Nevada.

Our next stop was Big Rock Candy Mountain
