4/26/00 A couple of months ago I put a notice on the message board that spring was just around the corner and it was time to get your equipment ready to go. WELL!Did you? I don't know where you live but you may still have time, maybe. Out here in the great south west you're S.O.L. if you waited. 10 days to 2 weeks turn around already. Some shops have begun to refuse equipment they didn't sell to keep the bag log from getting to long. Gotta take care of the folks who bought from us before worrying about the guy who bought from the big orange box. You see that's one of the advantages of buying from a full service dealer rather then mass merchandising box shufflers. But buying from a full service dealer still won't mean getting your equipment repaired over night during the spring rush. You'll still have a wait. So, as a reminder. If you live in cooler climates, you may still have time to avoid the long wait. If you live where the sun shines and find yourself burried in 15 inches of grass and the shop says it will be 2 weeks to get your mower back, make a note. Next year, BE PREPARED! I Told You So.
