--Woody (Tom Hanks) arguing a point with Buzz Lightyear in "Toy Story." The brilliant comedy--and its equally great sequel--will soon be available separately on DVD.

You've never seen a dinosaur like Aladar. The star of Disney's computer-animated film "Dinosaur" is an amazing creation that puts the likes of Cecil and Dino in their place. "Dinosaur" is the new king of the mountain, and this PG-rated marvel will be a favorite for your fossil finder age 7 and up. The collector's edition has a second disc of extras on the making of the film, including production materials, dropped sequences, and a detailed look at some of the visual tricks used in the film. Also available on DVD in a standard edition without all of the extras.

A dozen years after "Mary Poppins," and a half-dozen after "Bedknobs and Broomsticks," Disney returned to a mix of live action and animation. While critics didn't respond to "Pete's Dragon," fans have a soft spot for this film about a boy and his protective guardian--a dragon. Some of the songs linger in the mind, including "Candle on the Water" and "There's Room for Everyone in This World." Chopped up over the years (to accommodate TV showings), the film is now restored to the original 127-minute presentation. DVD extras include the animated short "The Reluctant Dragon," a Disney Family Album, a "Where's Elliot?" game, and excerpts from Disney television shows.

The story goes that when director Jon Turteltaub ("Cool Runnings") auditioned 8-year-old Spencer Breslin, he knew he found his actor, and he had the script rewritten (the character was originally 12). Turteltaub's intuition scores big points in this pleasing comedy starring Bruce Willis as an exec who meets his grade-school self. Both are surprised to discover their past--and future. The chemistry between Willis and Breslin is wonderful and so engaging that your young family members may think about what they will be like when they grow up. In another smart move, Turteltaub invites Breslin to share the audio commentary on the DVD; the results are hilarious.

It's been over 45 years since we left Lady and Tramp and that plate of spaghetti. But with a little Disney magic, we return to the Darling family and their two dogs, now with puppies of their own. This made-for-video sequel follows young Scamp's quest to be "a real dog" and live in the streets roughhousing with his dad's old gang. The DVD contains the director's commentary, games, and the shorts "Pluto, Junior" (1942), "Pluto's Kid Brother" (1946), and "Bone Trouble" (1940).

Charming tale of a good witch (Angela Lansbury) who helps out three children in World War II England. Star David Tomlinson reteams with his "Mary Poppins" director Robert Stevenson with solid success. Winner of the Oscar for Visual Effects (and nominated for five others), the film has been shortened over the years. This edition is restored to the original length, and the DVD contains three deleted songs, a still-frame art gallery, and behind-the-scenes coverage. Available on March 20, 2001.

The King Arthur legend gets the Disney treatment. Wolfgang Reitherman, the director of the original "Winnie the Pooh" shorts and "The Jungle Book," keeps the keen visual styles of those films, though the "Stone" script hasn't aged as well as other Disney classics. The DVD contains deleted songs, a still-frame art and photo gallery, and the animated Goofy short "Knight for a Day." Available on March 20, 2001.
