Well not really but hey I love these little tin boxes!

It all began back in 1987 when I got my first car. A Datsun, A perfect flawless example of simplistic superiority... …The car was a 1973 Datsun 510 Station Wagon - AKA: The Batmobile.

This Datsun started live as nothing more than great running wagon that had the ability to haul around three friends our skateboards and a launch ramp. But one day as I was driving down Wyoming Blvd. I passed a shopping center and I saw what looked like a 510 grill on a 2-door car with fender flares and cool racing strips. The car happened to be parked in front of a shop called AUTOSPORT. The owner of the shop was the driver of the Datsun and we soon were talking about how we could modify my station wagon. A year later it was powered by a L-16/18 hybrid with a huge ported head, Z valves, dual Weber carbs, a Racer Brown cam, SSS disto and a custom geared Z-Car 5-speed (gears from a 620 pickup and other misc.
