I've always had a fascination with people's names. Nancy's name just had a certain ring to it that was irresistable. Her NYC accent and her flair for design just seemed to fit together.

Nancy Kochanski (1986)

Nancy Kochanski, how are you doing today?
You come along like a summer song
I can’t help myself I like to say
"Nancy Kochanski", won’t you walk a little over my way
Won’t you stay a while with your half-moon smile
Just sit a spell and listen to me play.

Bridge
‘Cause I write songs about rights and wrongs
and things you’ve been dreaming of.
Foreign lands and holding hands
and lost and re-found love
but who’d a-ever thought I would write a song
about a pretty lady’s name
well, I don’t know, but bless my soul,
I can’t help myself, I love to say...

Nancy Kochanski, how are you doing today?
You come along like a summer song
I can’t help myself I like to say
"Nancy Kochanski", won’t you walk a little over my way
Won’t you stay a while with your half-moon smile
Just sit a spell and listen to me play.
