There are 5 series in Sailor Moon:

Sailor Moon (1-46)

In this series we are introduced to the main characters in the Sailor Moon cartoon they are: Sailor Moon (of course), Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. We meet also Tuxedo Mask and the cats Luna and Artemis. The enemies in this series is the Dark Kingdom lead by Queen Beryl.

Sailor Moon R (47-89)

In this series I consider it to have two parts: the Ann and Alan episodes, then the ones with the Black Moon Family. In the second part we meet Reeny who turns out to be Serena's daughter from the future. We also get a glance at a new Sailor Scout, Sailor Pluto.

Sailor Moon S (91-127)

This series has alot of new Sailor Scouts, they are: Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Saturn. The enemies in this series are Pharaoh 90, Proffessor Tomoe and others.

Sailor Moon Super S (128-166)

This one we are introduced to Helios. The new bad guys are: The Dead Moon Circus, lead by Queen Nehernia.

Sailor Moon Sailor Stars (167-200) [The series ended February 8, 1997]

The last of the series, we are introduced to new character, Sailor Starlights, and Chibi-Chibi. The enemies are the Sailor Animates lead by Sailor Galaxia.
