| The
North Jersey Independent Alliance is a non-profit social and educational
organization affiliated with New Jersey Independents. Unlike the Independents,
the alliance does not run or endorse candidates for political office, nor
does it lobby elected officials. Instead it serves as a public interest
clearinghouse for conferences, forums, seminars, rallies, film/video showings
and other events.
Besides
this the Alliance also works with other groups on issues that would not
normally be brought to the attention of the general public. The Alliance
keeps a library of non-corporate and alternative political literature,
available to its sustainers and patrons.
