National Action specializes in macho thuggery and
late-night bravado. They are guilty of violent and racist attacks. They
promote hatred and violence against Asians, Jewish people, Blacks, Aborigines,
Torres Strait Islanders, lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders, people
living with AIDS, people with disabilities, drug users, anarchists, socialist
and communists.
National Action aims to create a climate of fear. But we will not be intimidated.
We are building a Rapid Response Network. This network is a telephone tree
of organisations and individuals who pledge to mobilize any time the nazis
organize in public. We have launched the Rapid Response Network now so
that we can quickly build large and strong anti nazi actions. The Rapid
Response Network is also a tool of collective self defense. The network
boosts our capacity to respond quickly to the need to defend ourselves
in the face of nazi intimidation or harassment.
Organizing the Rapid Response Network is a vital strategy in the fight
to prevent National Action from growing. A large and visible network will
demoralize National Action and discourage potential recruits.
