WHO WE ARE
We are a group of mature people concerned with the future of our society.
For a while now we all have the chance to get better informed - also thanks to the Internet. With our web site - which will probably become more important before the next election in 2002 - we want to give you easier access to relevant information from all directions.
We are listing all the important links we have discovered over time and information sources we are using). This might help you too to get better informed this time (and before we make this important decision at the ballot box).
We are not left nor right and we have no problem to list the web site of the Business Roundtable and on the next line the URL of one of the major unions in this country. It is up to you to tap into these resources and make up your own mind.
We would like to have publicity like the "No Crap" site from the Young Nationals (more than a quarter of a million hits) - this proves the power of the internet. But so far the media haven't shown much interest in our site - this might change (maybe this will come before the next election).
We strongly believe if all people get thoroughly informed (and NO crap) - then the decision will be a good one reflecting the will of all of us. Society is not only business and money - let's have a life again !
We want you to ask yourself some honest questions ...
" What has happened to my life - positive and/or negative experiences - ( stress, leisure time, working conditions / job satisfaction etc. ... ) during the last ten to fifteen years ? "
" How much better / worse do I personally fare - what price did I pay (financial worries, debts in the form of mortgage and credit cards, what is my real - disposable - income today, my true living standard etc. ... ) ? "
