And my mind wanders back in time
To a lover's arms....a warm embrace.

And memories of loving you
The feelings kept hidden deep inside
Bring a faint hope...where loneliness now resides.

And how I long to be with you once again,
To share the joys, the laughter, the love
Just as I did.... back then...

But yesterdays never return
Once they are gone...
Just the quiet solitude
As I sit here alone...
