Out of A Clear Blue Sky







SEPTEMBER ELEVENTH DAWNED CLEAR AND BRIGHT;

CERULEAN BLUE SKY, NOT A CLOUD IN SIGHT.

PEOPLE ON THE STREETS, HEADING TO WORK BY THE SCORE;

NO ONE KNOWING A TWISTED TERRORIST HAD JUST DECLARED WAR.

WITHIN AN INSTANT, THEIR BRIGHT SHINY DAY;

WAS FILLED WITH FIRE, AND BILLOWING CLOUDS OF GREY.

THE MAJESTIC TWIN TOWERS, EACH STRUCK BY A PLANE;

INNOCENTS ON BOARD, EACH GIVING THEIR LIFE IN VAIN.

FAMILIES LEFT EMPTY, THEIR FEAR THEY CANNOT HIDE;

WAITING FOR WORD OF LOVED ONES, STILL TRAPPED INSIDE.

EVERY DAY NOW PASSES, SEEMINGLY WITHOUT END;

EACH SAD PERSON, IN SORROW, FINDS A FREIND.

THE HEARTS OF AMERICANS ARE STILL FILLED WITH DREAD;

YET HOPING FOR A MIRACLE SCATTERED AMONG THE DEAD.

WITH SORROW IN OUR SOULS, WE'LL TRY AND UNDERSTAND WHY;

OUR MIGHTY NATION WAS STRUCK BY TERROR...OUT OF A CLEAR, BLUE SKY.

September 11, 2001 & September 14, 2001

On September 11, 2001 Our Nation was devastated by the news of thousands of innocent lives lost due to the sensless act of terrosim on our people. Not on buildings as some have said, but on OUR PEOPLE!
Now we wait and watch and shed tears with the rest of the world at the hero stories, with the families who have no idea where their loved ones are. We express our outrage at the audacity of anyone who thought they could cripple our Nation.
It CANNOT be done. We WILL triumph! Our Nation is now stonger than it has ever been.
On September 14, 2001 at 7 P.M. Thousands of people stepped outside their homes to light a candle in memory and support. May the light from those candles forever shine brightly in the hearts of America!
Keep the victims and their families in your prayers. Pray the rescue workers are able to stay safe and strong.
