VIENNA GRADE BY GRADE

Grade 4: In addition to fine-tuning their reading and writing skills, the fourth grade students become public speakers and give dramatic performances. While learning the academic subjects, students will gain the ability to inform, educate, and entertain others.

Grade 5: The horizons expand. Students begin to refine their computer knowledge through telecommunications. Using the vast power and possibilities of electronic technology, students gain the ability to exchange ideas and information across distances.

Grade 6: As desktop publishers, Vienna 6th graders create a variety of printed materials, such as a monthly newsletter and various literary pieces for the school and the community beyond. These students learn to integrate text and graphics to create powerful presentations.

Grades 7 & 8: Applying skills learned in the earlier grades, seventh and eighth graders become TV producers. Combining writing, video, voice, and data, students integrate communication technologies in creative and informative ways.
