Gerber Cub Scout Adventure Camp

July, 1999

Eleven Scouts and five Adult Volunteers from Pack 3030
attended the First Overnight Cub Scout Camp
in the history of our Council.
There were a total of 381 Scouts and
224 volunteer leaders at Gerber Cub Scout
Adventure Camp this summer in seven different sessions.

All our Scouts and dads had an
action packed and fun filled 3 days and 2
nights at beautiful Camp Gerber.
Hiking, swimming, shooting bows &
arrows, shooting bb guns, making crafts,
storming the fort, and singing around the campfire
were some of the activities enjoyed by all.

Plans are now underway for the 2000 camp season.
New program (like the Lost Ship, Babe the Blue Ox,
Pirates Cove, (new waterfront), etc.) areas
are being built and more sessions will be offered.
The 2000 camp season is shaping up to be one awesome experience!
Now is the time for us to
think, plan, and reserve our spot in the fun.

More details will follow as it becomes available. There will be
information about Camp and other fun activities soon.
