Each year our club honours the members who achieved excellence in their club activities throughout the previous year. THIS IS THE TIME WE DO IT .
Our past president organizes a DJ ( usually Robertson Music) He decides on a theme ( ie: house of Winsor for Dallis Winsor) (cook for Chef John Nater)Fifties for Dave Adams) With the theme in mind he arranges for food catering , for Past President Mike we had a Mexican Theme to honour his purchase of a lifetime holiday there. We have used the Optimist Centre or Practice soccer field and soccer field in our building for the venue.
The Bar opens ( manned by other service club ( Gymnastics or Soccer) at 6:00PM and supper is served at 7:30. The awards are handed out by the President after his speach and the meal. The New Board is inducted after the meal and before the Dance.
