History

Pet Aid League was started in 1967 by a few concerned individuals who wanted to be able to provide low cost spaying and neutering for pet owners with little or no income. It gave people who could not afford to pay regular veterinary prices for this type of surgery an affordable choice, allowing them to be responsible pet owners and not let their animals breed.

Our organization has grown from one veterinarian doing a few surgeries a month to 30 veterinarians in our community doing nearly 10,000 surgeries per year.
