MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS WITH EUDORA LIGHT
by Gavin Haines:

While Eudora Light doesn't include built-in support for multiple accounts, it's possible to duplicate your existing settings and modify them for additional accounts. Here's how to go about it:

  1. Copy the Eudora folder within your System Folder to the Desktop. Within the folder on the Desktop, select the 'Eudora Settings' file and choose 'Make Alias' from the 'File' menu. Rename both the folder on the Desktop and the alias to the name of the ISP you wish to add.
  2. Move the alias into the 'Apple Menu Items' folder within your 'System' folder, giving you easy access to it. Make an alias of the original 'Eudora Settings' file in the 'Eudora' folder in your 'System' folder and rename it to the name of your existing ISP. Move the alias to the 'Apple Menu Items' folder
  3. You can switch between accounts by quitting Eudora, if it's already open, and selecting the ISP's name from the 'Apple Menu'. The first time you open your new ISP's configuration choose 'Settings' from the 'Special' menu and update the settings in 'Getting started', 'Personal Information' and 'Hosts', remembering to use the outgoing mail server for the dialup account you use.
