Background: Queen Telnarina of the merpeople saved a drowning human one night and fell in love. He, James, would visit her often to thank her for saving his life and one night she seduced him and became pregnant. The daughter that was born was Princess Delphinia,but she was unique. When brought to see her father and lifted from the water, the child's tail became to slender legs. She was brought to a small island with her father and lived there. Her mother would visit and she would learn about the land and the sea. They planned to have her live until 21 on land with him before she went back to live with her mother at 21.

As she grew life on the beach was wonderful. Her mother would visit and tell her of her heritage and how she would come down and live with her one day, but one day, when she was 11, a pirate ship landed there to bury it's treasure and found them. They killed her father and took the small girl captive to do menal tasks. She's lived there ever since.

Attitude: Princess Delphina doesn't act like royality any more. Ever since she was captured by the ship and treated like trash she did what she needed to in order to survive, she watched them and picked up some of their phrases and mannerisms to help her get along. She is very knowledgeable upon things most children shouldn't be.
