Greetings, mortals. This is Stacy Barrington's site devoted to the play from which I originated, William Shakespeare's play "The Tempest," about the usurped Duke of Milan Prospero, his young daughter Miranda, the monster Caliban, and the airy spirit Ariel (me), who aids Prospero in seeking revenge against the royal party who exiled the former duke and his daughter. The story is essentially a fairytale, and takes place on an uncharted, magical island.
I hope you enjoy your stay.
Yours truly,
Ariel the Sprite
