Listed here are a number of scholarship and grant search sites, information and myths about financial aid, a list of related phone numbers, newsgroups and mailing list links, lists of grants and contests, and information about study abroad and exchange programs. Additionally, there are a large number of government related sites, including college profiles and codes for most colleges which are needed to apply for a Federal Grant (also called a Pell grant), as well as information about your personal finances, admissions, college planning and links to many other related pages.

FINANCIAL AID FASTWEB THE FAST WEB FINANCIAL AID SEARCH
Is a site which allows you to maintain a post office box, input your criteria, (where you plan to attend college, in what major, etc.) and the site will periodically update your mailbox when it finds a grant for which you may be qualified. Fastweb is accessed by more than 20,000 students daily.
SRN EXPRESS This is another scholarship search site which you can search on line. This database contains "over 8,000 programs, offered by approximately 1,500 agencies, representing about 25 million dollars."
MACH 25, and EXPAN also search the web for grant based on different criteria which you input. There is also a search engine expressly for Canadian citizens. You can access these search sites fronm the first site on this page.

The newsgroups at Dejanews provide a large resource for those who have access to the web to discuss common financial aid problems and share opportunities, problems and information with others interested in similar topics.
