"who talked continuously seventy hours, from park to pad to bar to Bellevue
to museum to the Brooklyn Bridge.... yacketayakking screaming vomiting whispering
facts and memories and anecdotes and eyeball kicks and shocks of hospitals and
jails and wars...." -Allen Ginsberg, "Howl"
This train is bound for glory, that train. In the beginning,
God. Man made the trains. Trains on a track. Transcontinental
railroad. Indians' lands. The Indians once heathen, Christians.
The Europeans brought them eternal life through Jesus. Brought
diseases to which the Indians had no tolerance to. Immunity from.
Caught diseases easily. Readily accepted Jesus' way, the Truth.
One way to heaven. One way on a train bound for glory. Train
bound with tracks beneath. Track with ties beneath it. Straight
track, straight in time. Logic is another straight line. The
track and its logical end. End in time. Eternal life. Track
across the continent, turns in the track. Turns before the
train. No alternative, no other way, no turn in reality. As
straight as rails, as nails in the ties. Rails that never cross.
Blest be the ties. The ties that bind. Our bound hearts, bind our
hearts in Christian love. Straight love and logical in time, straight
through the ages, down. Down the tracks man made.
And taught the Bible taught to take care of relatives. Or
be worse than a heathen. Worse than hate. Hate a heathen in China.
In China where white cloth bound feet. Where the feet of one out of
ten girls died from. From binding and its after effects. Shaping
a foot three-inch ideal. Model. Training a foot to be three and
the age was three. Or five or six and done by the mother or grand.
The men had nothing to do with this tradition. A mother whose feet.
Whose feelings were social considerations of finding. A husband
for*. Four broken toes were and bent under into the sole.
*"Let us be glad and rejoice and honor Him; for the time has come for the
wedding banquet of the Lamb, and His bride has prepared herself. She is
permitted to wear the cleanest and whitest and finest of linens." - Revelation 19:7-8
