"I was paging through a magazine a few weeks ago. A few movie titles caught my eye: 'Ordinary People,' 'The Manchurian Candidate,' 'Moonstruck,' 'Shy People' — all movies I like very much. I looked up to see what the theme of the list was: movies about dysfunctional families.

"Oh, so that's the kind of movie I most like! I'm not so sure I wanted to know that."
