WHY DID THE ELEPHANT?
First, The Farm Boy of St. Paul: "Why did the elephant sit on the marshmallow?"So he wouldn't fall into the hot chocolate."
Now, Poet X of PDX: "Subject: Elephant jokes.
"Careful, I remember quite a few. The first one I remember hearing, I didn't understand at first. It may be the joke responsible for my understanding of the word wordplay:
"How do you get down off an elephant?
"You don't. You get down off a duck.
"A favorite: How can you tell if the elephants are on the same team? They wear the same sweatshirts."
