All in a day's work

"Subject: Bad Day at Work, I.
"I seem to have them often; here's a recent one: A month ago, after being at work 10 hours that night, I was told a final work assignment was about to be sent by fax. A failure of some sort caused a delay. After the problem was fixed, my phone rang and a co-worker on the other end began to sing 'The Monkees' theme: 'Here they come... .' I slammed the phone down, more a reflex than rudeness (honest!), right in her ear. Not that it was a favorite song, but it's now ruined for me forever."
BULLETIN BOARD SAYS: Possibly for her, too.
