Label:Estrus Records
Released:1999
Highlights:Fireball
Second Time Around
Solid Gold Soull
If You Ain't Down With Ronnie V (You Ain't Down With Me)

Rating: 7/10

The Quadrajets are bunch of Southern American rednecks who sound like the noisy cousins of Nashville Pussy. When The World’s On Fire is a consistent album that combines the grungey punk of Mudhoney and the blues rock of home town heroes Lynyrd Skynyrd. Unfortunately, the sound on When The World’s On Fire is too noisy for my liking and lacks a powerful bottom end. Subsequently the songs don’t take off like they should. However, The Quadrajets biggest handicap is they lack a good lead vocalist; no one in the band is credited with lead vocals. Nevertheless, I believe that The Quadrajets have the ability and potential to become a great rock band. Whether they do so or not is up to them.
