Rating: 4/5

Rollerball, who hail from Queensland, sound strongly influenced by such bands as Fu Manchu, Kyuss and even Tumbleweed. Judging by the artwork on this CD, Rollerball share the previous bands' enthusiasm for 70’s rock, kitsch culture and cars. Although stoner rock is a term that is being thrown around a lot lately, Rollerball easily fit into this category, especially in the aptly named title track, Lost In Space. I have to admit that this type of music isn’t really my thing and it’s only when Rollerball decide to rock out, such as in Jonathan E, that things get really interesting. Nevertheless, this is an extremely strong debut that matches it with the best.
