I always said you guys should have produced a TV (mini)series based on the X-wing books and PC game. It would have been HUGE. It could have stolen the market exploited by Space: Above and Beyond. Stargate has proven TV Sci-Fi spinoffs can be successful. The best part is it could have followed on from the trilogy without using any of the trilogy's main actors, ie Denis Lawson reprising Wedge Antilles, Admiral Ackbar, Janson, Hobbie etc. Try & mention it to George eh? Bit late now I suppose, any spinoffs will now have to be based on the prequal. (Source: Herman) (SuperShadow: Lucasfilm is not interested in producing live-action TV series due to the high cost. An episode of Star Trek Voyager costs over $ 1 million per episode. It's just too expensive . . . If we see a Star Wars TV show on in the near future, it will be an animated one based on the prequels.)

Here give this note to your supervisor: As Supershadow's herbalist I strongly advise you give Supershadow this Friday off. He is out of alignment and might cause serious fluctuations in "the force". After working so diligently and performing minor miracles such as parting the sea, walking on water and managing such an excellent marketing job for the next film he deserves some sleep. Sincerely, (Source: R5D4) P.S. Did you say you would advertise a R5D4 site if someone created it? P.S.S. Are you saying that if you put in 24 hour days the movie might get finished faster? (SuperShadow: I want get any real time off until we take our Christmas vacations. Thanks for the help though!)

1. Have you heard who is doing the music score for the prequels? John Williams I hope!!!! The opera-esque score was crucial to the dramatic feel of the first trilogy. I know the movie score will prove to be important in the upcoming prequels but i haven't come across any discussion of itby SW fans.

2. Is it safe to predict that the opening sequences of the prequels will be exactly the same as Ep IV, V, VI-- with the blaring SW theme and the "floating text" drifting back against a black star-lit backdrop?? I guess i am just a traditionalist and would like to see at least some continuity with the first trilogy.

3. I read on the "cast" page that samuel l. jackson will be playing the role of a jedi knight. I like this idea. I am also a sam jackson fan. Any insight to the details of this jedi character? will he be like a "homeboy" jedi or something? (Source: Dean) (SuperShadow: John Williams will be doing the score for Ep. 1 . . . The opening will be similar, but not exactly as you describe it . . . Jackson is playing the role of the revered Jedi Master Mace Windu.)

Why is everyone so anxious that Boba Fett actually turns out to be Anakin's sister, or Ben Kenobi's brother's dog's ex- owner? ROTJ stretched the bounds of plausibility enough with the way it revealed that everyone was related to everyone else - come on, the SW galaxy is huge, can we not simply have a character who has their own history, is from their own world, whose relationship with the other major characters goes no further than perhaps some old friendships or enmities? As for Fett being a woman - well, Fett looks built like a man, moves like a man (this would be very difficult for a woman to fake, as would be the vice-versa case) and talks like a man. "Bousch", on the other hand, was built like a woman, moved like a woman, and talked in a mid-to-high-pitched vocodered voice. On other matters - regarding the owners of the site that is organising a petition to have Ewoks in the prequel trilogy - I can recommend several well-reputed psychiatrists, or failing that, a home-made ECT kit. (Source: Ceri) (SuperShadow: Considering that George just announced that title of Ep. 1 is "The Phantom Menace." Anything is possible. George in his old age may not be as "cool" as he was in the late 1970's and early 1980's. This film will probably disappoint a few people just because George is doing so many unconventional things!)

I was watching E News Weekend and halfway through the show thay had an interview with Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor. The interview was really two seperate ones mixed together. In one of the parts with Ewan, they asked if there was anything he could say, Ewan then tells him the whole speech about how he cant say much, but he plays the younger version of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The reporter says I was talking with Liam Neeson I understand he is in it too, Ewan says Yes he plays my- then he cuts himself off realizing what he almost did! It is not much but I guess it proves that Liam's character is somehow realted to Obi-Wan. At the end of the interview Mr.Neeson says I have seen parts of the movie and it truly is out of this world! (Source: Skywalker) (SuperShadow: Interesting. Don't let these kinds of interviews knock your nose out of joint! It's no big deal! Relax . . . )

Where can I Part 1, 2 and 3 of your interviews with George Lucas, I can't find them? (Source: David) (SuperShadow: Look in the "Lucas Exclusives" section on our main page.)

Shadow, it's me, Slave Chewie. Hey. Jedi Dawn claims that she didn't send you a pic of her. She doesn't weigh 400 pounds! She weighs 382 pounds! No, i'm just kidding. Jedi Dawn is very skinny and pretty, but who cares about that? Anyway. Have you noticed how skinny and short Boba Fett is in Empire? Look at "him" next to Lando while Han's getting tortured. Pretty petite, eh? I don't want to believe "he" is a "she", but it kinda' looks like this theory may have truth.

Fett looks as awkward in "his" suit as Leia did in the Ubese Boushh disguise. Here's a weird one: What if the Emperor in Empire is really not the same Emperor as in ROTJ. I don't mean the actor ('cause we all know that), but the actual character in the film. Maybe Lucas intended for him to look different from one film to the next for a reason. His voice is even different. In Empire he sounds Jewish. In Return, he sounds like the Wicked Witch of the West's grandpa. Watcha' think? By the way, I wish people would spell the characters names correctly. I've seen Leia mispelled probably 100 times! C'mon! We've known her name since 1977! (Jeez, I better not mispell anything, huh?) (Source:--Slave Chewie) (SuperShadow: George may surprise us and make Fett a woman. We will just have to wait (and wait very patiently) for Ep. 2.)

Shadow, Slave Chewie again. Jedi Dawn gives her regards. We both love this site. Good work. This is regarding the voice that is heard saying "death" during the cave seen in Empire. Let me clear this up. When I was 14 years old, and saw Empire in the theaters for the first time, I heard Luke say "I feel cold, death." C'mon you guys!!! It's in the script and the novel! Check it out. You didn't know that? Jedi Dawn even knew that, and she doesn't know much. We are all Star Wars fans, aren't we? Doesn't anybody research their info before they look foolish? No offense or anything, but really! --(Source: SlaveChewie) (SuperShadow: Couldn't you put all this into one email!)

SuperShadow, even I knew Luke said that at the cave, and according to Slave Chewie, I don't know much (what a jerk he is). (Source:--Jedi Dawn) (SuperShadow: I have a feeling that Jedi Dawn and Slave Chewie are one in the same!)

Hey it's me, Slave Chewie, the drinker. If you want to know a real change in script from Empire (rather than that embarrassing "death" line theory during the failure at the cave, sheeesh), check this out. In Empire original release, the asteroid scene has 3PO saying "This is suicide" and that's it. In the Special Edition Empire, he says "This is suicide. There's nowhere to go."

It is a true change in script from the original release to the Special Edition. I wonder if they actually got Daniels to drop in that extra line. Another added sound is when Luke screams as he falls down the core of Cloud City. Now that does not sound like Mark Hamill. I know the executive producer of the Ru Paul show, and Hamill was on for an interview, so I went to the show. Afterwards, I spoke with him about his comic books (Me being a graphic artist and all), and got him to sign a Famous Monsters Star Wars Spectacular issue from 1977. He seemed a little uncomfortable with himself, but all in all, he seemed be happy. He should. He is an american icon; he portrayed the most well-known sci-fi character of all time. (Source:--Slave Chewie) (SuperShadow: How many emails are you going to send me, Slave Chewie/Jedi Dawn!)

It is written in the book of ROTJ that the emperor knew of yoda, when at the end of the book when luke finally comfronts the emperor along with vader, the emperor ask who completed his training and luke does not say. Then the emperor tells him " I do remember one called yoda" (a jedi master). and you can assume that if he would remeber yoda to think that he must have trained luke. Could it be that the emperor knew that yoda was not dead??? or that maybe the dark jedi yoda had to fight and destroy was sent by the emperor??? Also when you watch the movies yoda always seem distant( mind wandering) when the evil of the emperor or vader was mentioned.... could he(yoda) have been close to the emperor???? maybe he supported him in some the issues among the senate and old rebublic???? " I seek an audience with your greatness, please respond (Source: marcus-Darknight) (SuperShadow: Sound great! Thanx for your rumors!)

What online mag do yo write a column for? (Source: Starkill) (SuperShadow: I use that column to bash certain websites for their dishonesty so it is best that I don't mention the mag I write for :))

Thank you for the response to my question and I will check out that link that you sent me. I believe that you might have misunderstood the scope of the question. I quit my job designing shoes for discount stores (while it wasn't glamours they were still paying me for working on a computer) and moved to Chicago because I thought the Art Institute was a good school. I was wrong and am willing to move anywhere to get a good education. Could you please tell me which schools you and your peers respect. I am willing to go to any extreme to reach my goals and just need a point in the right direction. I also don't want you to think that I am too lazy to do my own research. I just have a problem telling the difference between objectivity and propaganda in the media. I am envious of your position and the skills that you must have to hold it. If you had to do it again where would you go.thank you again (Source: Matthew Farrow) (SuperShadow: Good luck!)

Take care!

SuperShadow: Do to the large volume of email we receive, it can take as long as a week for me to send you a personal reply, please be patient . . . I'm posting your rumors and comments as quick as possible.

Thanks for the great site. I feel all caught up on the latest juice now! I was wondering about the death pods you mention in the screenplay. Are they different from the pods on Tatooine? Do you have a guess on how long the pod race scene is going to be? It sounds pretty involved. I think this sounds like it will be one of the most exciting scenes of the whole movie if it's done well. OK, that's it for now, mostly I wanted to thank you for the great info. (Source: Milo) (SuperShadow: Don't put too much faith in my script. Much of it is based on false rumors that have been circulating the Net. Some of it, like the pod race scene, will turn out to be legit. The pod race is a very complex and spectacular action sequence that is like the speeder bike scene on Endor times 100! Jawdropping and eyepopping.)

Is George Lucas really going out with Cindy Margolis? If he is then he must be some type of player! (Source: ZZ4Z) (SuperShadow: Cindy has been seen with George at the ranch. George keeps his private life very private so I can't say much about his relationship with Ms. Margolis.)

How goes it SuperShadow, Vespon, et al... Nice to see you have made your triumphant return. The interviews with Lucas are quite interesting, and I have read the two excellent script treatments linked on your site. I wanted to inform you (specifically SuperShadow) that I have completed my new version of my Ep 1 treatment. As I have discovered, it can be quite daunting to make a story without (too many) loopholes or inconsistencies, but I think I have done a credible job. It is a bit cumbersome to attach so just go check it out here sometime when you have a moment:

WJ's Mainstream plot line of Ep. 1

Here is some speculation to keep everyone on their toes: I have been attempting to deduce the reason for Senator Palpatine secretly supporting the Trade Federation/Sith attack on the Young Queen's world since my last question to Vespon. Here is a potential solution: yes, Palpatine does in fact have access to the cloning technology -that is part of his plan. He is the one that actually revealed the details of the technology to the Nimoudians. The reason he is (secretly) supporting the attack on Naboo is basically a political move to destabilize the Galactic Senate.

Check this theory out . . . all sources so far seem to say that Senator Palpatine asks for only a small force of Jedi and that this confuses the Young Queen. Perhaps this is incorrect and he actually double-crosses the Trade Federation and calls for a large force which he knows will defeat them. Chancellor Valorum is the one that actually calls for the small force, as he is more of the traditional "pacifist". It is with this "bold" move that Palpatine almost single-handedly moves into the Chancellery. When the Jedi and Republic forces show up at the end to engage the Trade Federation, the Sith forces take off into hyperspace and leave the Nimoudians up sh*t creek. This would seem to be a little more plausible and would be more in Palpatine's deceptive, self-serving nature. Then Palpatine would be the "hero of the Battle of Naboo", right?

What if Darth Maul is Anakin's father? Let's think about this a moment: *Anakin and his mother Shmi live in relative poverty in a hovel on Tatooine *Anakin is extremely strong with the Force *His father is a mystery *Jinn and/or Kenobi have motivation to bring Anakin into the Jedi fold *His mother (apparently) is apprehensive after Anakin discloses he and Qui-Gon spoke *Anakin is separated from his mother *Qui-Gon and Maul supposedly duel on Tatooine *Maul is evidently killed at the hands of a Jedi on Naboo *It has been rumored that there is a 'revelation scene' at the end concerning Anakin's father *Events transpire in Anakin's life which predispose him to the Dark Side *There is a reason why Yoda refuses to train Anakin *Darth Vader has a hatred of Jedi

Everyone assumes that Anakin's father was a Jedi, but who says that he was a good one? I admit it is a huge stretch, but so what. Later on (Source: Whilljournalist) (SuperShadow: I like your plot treatment for Ep. 1. It will be interesting to see how close the Net has come to actually collecting accurate info about the prequel plot line. Only time will tell of course.)

Try to get the script it could happen. if you know a person working at lucas film it could happen. then put it on the internet with spoiler warnings. (Source: Jedi David Sog Quan) (SuperShadow: Since I've signed a comprehensive nondisclosure agreement, I couldn't post the real script even if I could get access to it. A man/woman has to honor their agreements. Anyway, what would I have to gain by posting the real script?)

Your prequel site is just too cool. I can't wait to get home from school each day so that I can read the latest rumors that you have dug up. Great work! (Source: Fermento 3) (SuperShadow: Thanx, we're glad to be of service!)

Totally unsubstantied thoughts....Fett Clone Boba Fett could have access to a sparti cloning cylinder, cloning tech, etc. and be "replicating" himself every so many years. This would be a plausible background that solves any "age" problems and explains both his omnipresence as an recurring character in episodes 3,4,5, 6 and beyond. It also makes sense when you consider his seeming indestructability and unparalled fame as a bounty hunter. You could rack up quite a reputation if you were around for a long time and had a way to cheat fate. It would also leave open the possibility of him being female at some earlierpoint.

Fett/Vader: Why did Vader make it a point in ESB to single Fett out when he warned the Bounty Hunters "no disentigrations?" Maybe in Ep. 2 we'll see an earlier relationship between Vader and Fett. Maybe a botched job where the client (Vader) gets annoyed with Fett because Fett vapes the intended target.

Sith/Anakin: This may have been mentioned before, but Obi Wan's "Vader killed your father" line might be metaphorical. What if Darth Vader is a Sith Lord in spirit form who possesses the dying Vader in exchange for co-regency of the body. From a certain point of view Vader ended Anakin's old life and took control of the new one. This would make Luke's father "more machine now than man" and Darth Vader would be Sith Spirit wrapped in steal. That would create a nice dramatic tension as the two selves try to assert themselves for supremecy in Ep 2 and 3. (Knowing George's penchant for characters who exercise free will and make their own choices that probably is wide of the mark but it seems like a plausible way to harmonize Ben's lines.)Anakin vs. Obi Wan I can't think of a better excuse for a falling out between Vader and Obi Wan than a fight between the two of them over a woman.

I think Adult Anakin tries to kill Obi Wan over Padme. You'd be out for blood too if your "Master" was screwing your girl on the side. This is a much more plausible reason for Anakin's decent into the Dark Side than the proposed 8 yr. old's grudge against the Jedi for not training him or for his rage over their botched rescue attempt where his mother is killed. Thanks for the ear, the wonderful site, and for keeping the updatesflowing. (Source: Scratch Gravel, Kai Frenec) (SuperShadow: That's all very interesting info that I can't really comment on.)

shadow's episode i script is fab. Thanks for writing it! You and Chewie should get a medal! (Source: Soin) (SuperShadow: That's the ticket.)

Hi, I am fourteen and my aunt just got married one thing I didn't know of her new husband is that he is closely related to John Williams! Since they married I have met Mr. Williams and even heard some new themes he is writing for the prequels, although they were played on the piano I must say the music already sounds great, I heard ideas for the Jedi theme and for the young queen's theme. The Queens has the same tone as Leia's theme or Leia and Han's love music, but the jedi "march" sound more like indiana jones theme! Its going to be an all around great movie! this is so cool ! (Source: Snoopy Red) (SuperShadow: Seems like everybody knows somebody that is workin' on this film. We'll just have to take you at your word, Snoop.)

DSPR puts other prequel site to shame! I bet those chumps lose sleep at night trying to match your greatness. All hail Shadow!!! (Source: Mon Sharni) (SuperShadow: We're #1 with a bullet!)

I would like to know if anyone has heard what C 3po looks like. I have heard that the costume looks different perhaps CGI. I hope this is a false rumor R2 and C 3po should look the same.

Like the idea for George to get rid of the Ewoks in ROTJ. Digitally wipe them out and insert some form of mad new alien hard enough to really be able to kick the crap out of that battalion of crack stormtroopers. Surely He would listen if you got enough support.... Also, how do you pronounce Padme? (Source: Davey Dee) (SuperShadow: 3PO will appear in a different form, but he will not be CG . . . George will never remove the Ewoks from ROTJ . . . I've never actually heard George say the Queen's name, but I think it is pronounced Pad-May.)

If Bobba Fett turns out to be female, then I guess OB-1 will turn out to be a clone designation for Kenobi. (Source: Metal Cat) (SuperShadow: The idea that the Ben Kenobi we see in A New Hope could be a clone is completely absurd while the speculation that Fett is a woman is both cool and inevitable.)

Also when you watch the movies yoda always seem distant( mind wandering) when the evil of the emperor or vader was mentioned.... could he(yoda) have been close to the emperor???? maybe he supported him in some the issues among the senate and old republic???? " I seek an audience with your greatness, please respond (Source: Marcus-Darknight) (SuperShadow: The Emperor probably knows that Yoda survived the Jedi Massacre, but the Emp is unable to locate Yoda because Yoda has so well hidden himself. The Emp doesn't consider Yoda to be a legitimate threat as long as Yoda stays in hiding. The Emp turns out to be wrong about many things.)

Hey, SuperShadow, you work too hard! Take a break! *S* (Source: pat pdh) (SuperShadow: I'll take a break come June '99!)

Where did you get the counter that counts down the days to something?? I'd really appreciate if you send me where you got it! Thanks so much! (Source: TomCee) (SuperShadow: Can't remember where it came from, but if you want to use it. All you need to do is cut and paste the source code.)

Dark Side rumors is cool! Luv the prequel rumors and stuff! Cheerio . . . (Source: Noonan) (SuperShadow: Thanx.)

I live in Novato and was wondering how the HR department determines who they would like to interview? Are the HR departments for LucasArts, LucasFilms, etc. separate? I applied for the Merchandising/Toy Administrative Assistant position with LucasFilm because I like to do admin assistant work. I have the skills to do fantastic work and the job is perfect for what I am interested in. So far, I have not received even a postcard, saying my resume was received. It's now been 3 weeks, any advice? Should I send in another resume or would that be presumptuous? I have been temping at LucasArts for about 3 weeks in the Marketing Department. When I applied with them 2 weeks ago, I received a reply from HR in a week, plus went in and filled out application forms. Help me SuperShadow, you're my only hope! (Source: Kevin Bemis) (SuperShadow: If you really temp at LucasArts then you should have no problem getting in contact with the powers that be at Lucasfilm. Ask somebody for help! . . . If you mail your resume to Lucasfilm, your suppose to receive a written acknowledgment from them. If you don't receive a response, then you need to follow up to make sure they received your resume/application, etc.)

Until next time . . .

I love how current you stay and I am glad that there is someone out there for those of us fans that don't quite have the time. Thanks (Source: Russell) (Fire Force: We'll continue to provide the best prequel coverage for many years to come with exclusive updates from Lucasfilm insiders.)

I have an interesting theory about Anakin's friend Wald. There is a rumor on the Coming Attractions Episode 1 page telling that Anakin's childhood friend is a Rodian. Who is the most popular Rodian in the SW universe? You guessed it. Greedo! Maybe the name Wald was used on the set to keep the prequel spies in the dark? That could be an interesting twist on George's part,no? Darth Vader's best friend killed by our favorite smuggler,Han Solo. That could be cool. (Source: Bilbo) (Fire Force: It would be cool except fot the fact that Wald is not a Rodian. Wald's species still remains a secret.)

Dark Side Rumors said: "It is possible that Kenobi successfully eluded Vader and the Empire or maybe Vader couldn't bring himself to kill his former master and allowed Kenobi to escape into hiding if Kenobi agreed to never be seen again. Of course, Kenobi lied to save his own skin and patiently kept a low profile until the time was right for him to motivate Luke to seek his destiny."

In "A New Hope", Vader said words to the effect of: "When we last met, you were the teacher - now *I* am the master." This implies that Obi Wan was stronger/better than Anakin in the use of the Force. Therefore, he would have had no need to flee from Vader, or gain his permission to stay in hiding. (Source: The Student) (Fire Force: Vader spares the life of his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, on condition that Kenobi will go into exile and never be heard from again . . . or so it is rumored.)

I think that the attention that you gave at the begining (the words for the scroll and so forth) were very entertaing some points of the story I actually would like to see in the actual movie. I liked the whole Anakin pod race, and Anakin collecting his winnings (R2). The biggest thing I would love to see would be that whole Darth Sidious/Palpatine scene at the end, that would be the coolest thing. I would like to know if you had any inside (Lucas) information or did you make up the whole thing. Thanks for a nice look inside look at the movie. I am one that cannot get enough information no matter how little or meaningles. (Source: Rob) (Fire Force: Shadow's script is based on the Episode 1 rumors that have been flying around the Net for the past year. Some of the rumors are indeed true, but many are false.)

I just read on another movie sight that Lucasfilm has possibly found an unknown actor to play Anakin in Ep. 2 & 3. The person who posted this knew someone that has a contact that works for the casting of the Prequels. We'll call him "scout". "Scout" was in Wisconsin, on vacation or something... and he came across a UW-Madison short film that starred a first time actor. I guess he was pretty impressed with this young man. So impressed that he later tracked him down... which was hard because he wasn't a student. His name is Ken Miyamoto. Weirdname, huh?

"Scout" tracked him down and Miyamoto did an improvisation that blew "Scout" and his co-workers away! Lucasfilm has kept it pretty secret as usual. The person said that Miyamoto has only been in that one film. But he's making the move to California later this year. "Scout" then said that Miyamoto just had the look. "He is Anakin... it's in his eyes." They said that they were going to get some pictures of the actor, but i haven't seen anything yet. I'll keep ya posted.Source: Force) (Fire Force: According to Robin Gurland (who is in charge of the casting for Ep. 2 and 3), while some individuals are being considered for the role of older Anakin, no one has been cast for that role. According to Robin, your rumor is false.)

Just thinking more about Biblical references in the trilogy. Think about:

Anakin, good kid who ends up hating Jedis, killing them and wiping their scourge and religion off of the galaxy. Ends up getting redeemed and helping the Jedi to re-establish their religion.

Compare:

Saul, a normal teen of Biblical times, turns to the darkside (Pharisees) and decides to hate Christians, killing them and wiping them off of the planet. Ends up seeing a vision from God, getting redeemed and helping the Christians establish Christianity worldwide (He even wrote about 1/2 the New Testament).

I know what you are thinking: why do people always have to bring this up? Well, this is why I think the trilogy has been so successful: George copies the 'greatest story ever told,' the Bible. I am sure we can expect many Biblical references (virgin birth = virgin birth of Christ, persecuting Jedis = persecuting Christians, the Force = the Lord, a new hope = salvation) in the prequels to help insure their success. (Source: THE PREACHER) (Fire Force: George relied on the Bible and many, many other sources for inspiration while writing the script for Ep. 1. Your comment has some merit.)

Thanks for the info, Supershadow, and good luck with the effects work. I know your work will amaze me once more. I live in the Netherlands so I'm worried that I won't be able to stay away from reading the film reviews and essential plot points once the film has opened in the US. I doubt whether the film will open in Europe in May 1999. (Source:-Jeroen) (Fire Force: Ep. 1 will NOT be released in Europe during May/June 1999.)

I would like to play Luke Skywalker in part 7, 8 and 9. (Source: Flash Gordon) (Fire Force: If George ever gets around to making the sequels, then Mark Hamill will reprise his role as Luke.)

Hello Supershadow! I was wondering about a possible deal we could work out for a possible partnership. I have started a website at http://www.landspeeder.com that is devoted to the discussion of prequel rumors, collectibles, the RPG, and just basically Star Wars in general. To date, I have given the site a live chat room for prequel discussions as well as a forum devoted to various Star Wars topics. The site is still in it's development (as are all good sites really), but it is evolving into a fairly nice site for the fans to visit and discuss anything star wars that they wish. I love the site, and I think we could have a good partnership, so what do you say? Even if it's not possible I appreciate your efforts here at the site. Keep up the good work!!! May The Force Be With You!!! (Source: James C) (Fire Force: As you would expect, we get offers of this type constantly. We appreciate your offer, but we are unable to form any alliances with SW fan sites at this time. We'll keep your offer in mind. Thanx!)

What's George Lucas trying to say in the second part of the interview when he talks about a stronger female character? It doesn't seem to make sense. (Source: Doboy) (Fire Force: I believe George would like for Indy's female sidekick in Indy 4 to be as tough as Indy.)

hey thanks for the reply that was very nice. love your site. of course by march 1999 i'll have to read it at 1 am cause it'll be too crowded every evening. thanks again (Source: Frank Z) (SuperShadow: Our popularity even astounds me some times!)

I think that Star of Alderaan thing is the silliest fan protest of all times. We fans should be protesting to make Lucas REMOVE the Ewoks from the trilogy. I would definately spend my hard earned cash to flood Lucasfilm with protest mail if it would get hime to remove those furry rodents from Jedi!! (Source: Haliwell) (SuperShadow: Love 'em or hate 'em. The Ewoks are here to stay.)

This is either the real story for episode one or a great could have been! Good job I couldn't stop reading. (Source: Unknown) (SuperShadow: Thanx. 90% of the people who have read my script seem to have enjoyed it.)

Is it true that Kevin Bacon appears as a guard or something in this new Star Wars film. Do you ever play six degrees to Kevin Bacon. It's a cool thing to do. (Source: Footlooser XT) (SuperShadow: There's no Bacon in Ep. 1 and I don't play that game.)

What is the deal with the blood samples that Neeson's character takes froim Anankin? I sincerely doubt this rumor, but am concerned as to how something so ridiculous could be taken so seriously. Lucas would be ruining the entire storyline by inserting something about a race of organisms which determine whether you can use the Force. Do you agree? Can you give me some feedback. Thanks (Source: TB, Tusken Boy) (SuperShadow: Don't expect to see Neeson taking blood samples of Anakin in Ep. 1 that is just YET ANOTHER false rumor started by some other website. I can't criticize that particular site by name or their wakko webmasters will start spreading EVEN MORE lies about Dark Side Prequel Rumors. When you're #1 (like we are), you have to constantly face extreme jealousy from other SW webmasters.)

Knock out! This site is a knock out. My first and only stop for prequel news. I'm sick and tired of all the lame rumors that ______, ______ and ______ constantly post. Those sites suck! (Source: Peter Tanner) (SuperShadow: Thanx. We'll continue to bring you the best prequel news and rumors.)

SW: Shadows of the Empire. Well why don't you use actors voice and use industrial light and magic or make up and make Shadows of the Empire. (Source: Milton) (SuperShadow: George doesn't have the time to produce an animated or live-action version of SOTE. Sorry. You'll just have to settle for the prequels!)

I bet we'll see a bunch of ugnaughts in the new movie. They just sort of hung out in the background of the empire strikes back and didn't do much. This probably means they have a larger role in the prequels. (SuperShadow: Don't bet the family jewels on that one!)

I think boba fett as a woman is a brilliant idea. It could explain in some ways fett's unrelenting pursuit of solo in esb. Personally, i consider myself one of fett's biggest fans and this would just add to the mystery surrounding the galaxies greatest bounty hunter. (Source: Geargan) (SuperShadow: We'll just have to wait and see what George has decided to do with Fett in Ep. 2.)

Hey! Great site, I hope that you guys publish the script prior to the film. I would like to have all the film's dialogue memorized before I see the film for the first time. Thank you, Shadow! (Source: Role Miyer) (SuperShadow: The official script for Ep. 1 won't be released for sale to the public until after the release of the movie.)

Just one comment which is nothing more than an opinion. You hypothesise that R2 is Anakin Skywalker's old droid and that later it is given to Leah. The possibility of this droid belonging to her is very remote. let me explain why. Remember at the beginning of ANH when R2 is with Leah and Threepio happens upon them. He was rather upset that he was with her. like he shouldn't have been with her. Hmm. I may be wrong but then again who really knows except George. (Source: Anakin Starkiller) (SuperShadow: I think that in Ep. 1 R2 most likely belongs to Padme. As for 3PO . . . well, he remains more of a mystery . . . )

Superb info and lay out. I luv the way this page actually loads quickly without having to wait an hour! You people must be super geniuses. Keep up the awesome stuff! (Source: Byron Kendell) (SuperShadow: We've designed this site so that it will load as quickly as possible. The high volume of visitors we receive sometimes slows down the load time. There's nothing we can do about that!)

This may be an old rumor to you. But I was thinking that Anakin and Shmi might be so poor because Anakin's father is a fallen Jedi that is presumed to be deak. However, we run into Anakin's father who is now a Sith Lord in a later episode of the prequels. Just a thought. (Source: Jedi Tucker 2) (SuperShadow: That could happen . . . Anakin's father is a great mystery . . . a rather important enigmatic character . . . )

Dark side rules! (Source: Lloyd Peterson) (SuperShadow: Thanx!)

Will I have to wait weeks to see the prequel next May since it will be so popular and sold out for many weeks next year? (Source: Worried Big Time!) (SuperShadow: Don't panic! You won't have to wait weeks (although you may have to see the film at 4 A.M.))

Do you think that the lines added to the Coruscant Celebration Scenes in Jedi Special Edition "Meri Casa" is a character that may be liberated by the death of Palpatine. Ben is Obi-Wan's name. Maybe if Padme is a Jedi then Meri Casa is her name perhaps. I was just curious as what you guys think of that. It might just mean Happy House. Casa is house in spanish I think and Merri means like Merry Christmas. (Source:-Jason The Jedi) (SuperShadow: I've never come across that name before.)

Since Chewie is about 200 or so years old in the trilogy, I think this means we will see him somewhere in the prequels even if he is seen only briefly. (Source: Craig) (SuperShadow: It's almost certain that Chewbacca will appear in the prequels.)

It would be nice if the senate seens have some creatures that are new to us. I'm afraid that the senate is only going to be composed of creatures that we saw in the cantina and at Jabba's palace. Please ease my fears Shadow and say "hi" to George Lucas today for me. Hope you get a few days off form ILM soon! (Source: Charles Blakemore) (SuperShadow: Some of the creatures from the classic trilogy will be seen in the senate scenes. However, there will be a boat load of brand new creatures that will "WOW!" you. It's going to be interesting to say the least.)

Why are the majority of the main characters human or biped in the Star Wars films? Is there just a huge human overpopulation problem in the universe, in the fantasy future or what? (Source: Bevis) (SuperShadow: George lacked the technology to unleash his full creativity in the first films. Now with the advent of computer animation, George is going to be able to pepper the prequels will all kinds of wild and imaginative creatures. Prepare to be amazed by Episode 1's creatures!)

I love the R5 story. It's pretty cool. It changes the way I look at R5. I thought it was just an insiginificant part of the original films. Now I know that R5 is really important. I guess this is how Sir Lucas is going to change our perception of the trilogy. I know R5 isn't a Jedi or a leader of the senate, but it's still cool to read. Good job! (Source: Utes) (SuperShadow: Barry will appreciate those words!)

Man, your script and page rocks. Keep up the good work! As for a rumor, I heard that Boba Fett may be a former Dark Jedi that Palpatine forced to wear armor so his identity wasn't revealed, but promised him work as a bounty hunter. But then his death (and girly little scream) in ROTJ would seem an easy way to kill a Jedi. Also I was wondering if you've seen or heard about how many aliens will be in the Senate scenes...I can't wait! Source: MA) (SuperShadow: Fett's enigma may come to an end in the prequels, but who knows what surprise George has in store for us? Fett could be anything. Fett could be Yoda's big brother . . . There will literally be hundreds of creatures in the senate. It will be awesome!)

Keep rockin! Your site has it all. Thanks! (Source: Verni IT)(SuperShadow: Glad you enjoy the site!)

George Lucas stated that Boba Fett will have a prominent role in episode 2. If this ss "THE" Boba Fett then he would have to be 50 or so (minimum) In episodes 4-6 and that doesn't seem right. Or perhaps Lucas meant that the Mandalorian Warriors, (representing what Boba Fett was) would be In the film. Then again maybe Boba Fett was cloned In these clone wars and the Fett we've all come to love In episodes 4-6 was actually a clone? What do you think about all this? (Source:-Mark) (SuperShadow: George wasn't ambigous. THE Boba Fett will be in Ep. 2. His role in Ep. 2 is what remains ambiguous.)

It's about time r5d4 got his time in the Tatooine sun.....I like the story. No one's ever wrote a story from r5d4's perspective as far as I know. Larry gets an A+ for originality. Larry is pretty smart. (Source: Moff Tater Bug) (SuperShadow: It's Barry. Barry wrote that cool story. We just posted Chapter 2.)

Star Wars and the internet: My adventure! One of the things that really makes me laugh about the internet is the way one can make a story or rumor seem as published fact. But in fact it is published in a certain way. All it takes is for some one to print it and keep it and its as good as published. I used to run a Star Wars Prequel site but I shut down after about half a year. I was dedicated to running a "True" and "Factual" site about the upcoming Star Wars Prequel.

Well, news wasn't as easy to come by as I had thought. It was always bogus info thought up by some pimpled faced teenager. Does the Young Queen have a naughty scene in Episode One? Well I think that this is self explanatory! Of course she doesn't! Is there going to be an "R" rated special edtion of Episode One? Well, if you look at last years Special Edition of A New Hope, George Lucas had Greedo blasting first. So I highly doubt he would ever have a nude scene in one of his Star Wars movies.

Well I had pretty much masterd HTML by this time. With no news to report I had might as well make somthing colorful! So I did and I reported what most of the popular sites were reporting. I averaged about a thousand hits a week. Which was not great but not bad either.

Then after haveing no news to report I made up a rumor! Yes I lied to all of the public! Do I feel bad? No way Jose! My rumor took off and they were dicussing it on E! and all the popular Prequel related websites.

One night while watching Lady Hawk I thought it would be cool if Rutger Hauer was Boba Fett. My thinking was even if it was lame, if it was about Fett people would devour it the way they devour that stupid Boba Fett comic book. And you know what? They did! They began to say "Hey nice page" and "Great hair" and all the complements in the world.

Then it came to me. I was actualy sad. I had always thought most of the storys on the net were pure bogus but then I knew it was probably all of them.

It is very easy to mess up HTML based chat rooms. It happens constantly. With the Prequel Storys it maybe them same. I hope it is and I hope its not. While a lot of the rumors are cool many of them are just retarded.

Some of the rumors are coming true all the time. Like the name Padme and Naboo. When the name Ric Oli'e came out I was stunned to find out that it was true. I had reported some true news in my life! I had an e-mail from a guy telling me about a bubble gum card he had seen with a bald guy named Ric Oli'e on it. I reported it but it was hardly intresting news, don't you think?

Some people follow what some webmaster says about the the prequels as fact. Do not be so trusting. And never think this site or this site would't do that because they have reported true stuff before and they get three thousand hits a day. Because they have the most to loose. (Source: -Jason Ward) (SuperShadow: False rumors on the Net? When did that start? Are you sure there are false rumors on the Net? That's news to me.)

Bossk. Bossk. Bossk. We want Bossk in the new films! Help us out on this one Supershadow! (Source: The Bossk Collective) (SuperShadow: You know George is really torn on whether or not to include Bossk in the prequels. You never know with George. We should see a couple of Bossk's species in the senate.)

Often, on Decipher's discussion listserv the topic of "what's canon?" comes up. Has George ever given a firm answer to this? The novels & comics have such a strong (with a few exceptions) & cohesive continuity it would be a shame to have them be wiped out. In the same way WEG & Decipher have fleshed out many of the minor characters.Help me..... Thanks for your time (Source: Hisst Ka) (SuperShadow: George is Star Wars canon. If he contradicts Star Wars history in the prequels, then that history is not canon. If he doesn't contradict the history that is in the novels and comics, then those storis are Star Wars canon. It's that simple.)

If Jim Morrison were still living he would be singing: "Come Dark Side light my fire. Try to set the night on fire." cause this site is so so so the rage. Stay cool and I'll keep coming back each day. (Source: Thomas L.) (SuperShadow: The Doors were a super-cool rock group. Too bad Jim didn't live long enough to see Star Wars. He passed away in the early 1970's.)

Shadow rulz the star wars prequals! Luvin every minute of it. Thanks for making the wait less boring and less painless. I hope they fire the guys running the official site and hire you Dark Side team instead. (Source: Jedi Will) (SuperShadow: The film will be much more than worth the wait. Hang in there!!!!!)

In my opinion I think that Lucas will be too old to work on the sequels. But of course he probably won't let age stop him from completing his life's work. (Source: Omeo) (SuperShadow: Regardless of what George says today, we all know that one day he will complete the Sequel Trilgy. It's just a matter of time.)

Hey, whose idea was it to write about R5? Neat idea. I hope the novel people are reading this and ask Zahn to write a trilogy about that red astromech. It could happen. Keep up the good work everybody! (Source: Matchbox 1138) (SuperShadow: It will be interesting to see if Zahn writes any of the novels that will spin out of the prequel time line. I hope he does.)

Just a quick word about obssessivness.....I read the post about the fans of Ewoks, come on folks, who the heck did you guys protest to BEFORE Star Wars was around? Nobody ever HEARD of Ewoks then . . . It's people like you Ewok addicts that give decent fans a bad name in the mainstream press. We are durned lucky George is even DOING these movies.....He is gonna do what HE wants because it's HIS film(s). And deluging Skywalker Ranch with daily mail will if nothing else p*ss off the postman.(Aren't ENOUGH of THEM p*ssed off?)

If I were George I would promise you guys Ewoks up the whazoo in the 9th film and guess what????I would wait yet another 20 years to make SW 9. By then nobody on the planet will CARE! Come on people get a LITTLE bit of a life huh? (Source: Frank Z. (A fan not fanatic)) (SuperShadow: With free speech and communication, you have to take the good with the bad. Just say no to Ewoks in Ep. 1. Of course, now I'm going to get a zillion emails decrying my negative comments towards the "saviors" of the Star Wars galaxy. Maybe, inside Fett's armor there are two Ewoks standing on top of each other. Could Fett possible be two clever Ewoks? Gee, maybe I should suggest that to George?)

If Palpatine puts on a "Vader" helmet in the prequel. I'm going to do the mega-vomit. If Palp does don the V helmet, this would just be a cheap maneuver on Lucas' part to get Darth Vader symbolically in the film in order to kiss up to the fans. Don't do it! (Source: Plentiful Force) (SuperShadow: Give George some credit! Palpatine wears a fedora just like Indy Jones . . . honest.)

George has said that the prequels would change our perception of the classic trilogy. I think that Obi- Wan Kenobi should be portrayed as very reckless, for which he would shoulder a lot of remorse. We know that he is somewhat responsible for the "birth" of Darth Vader, but what else is he responsible for? We know from "Empire" that Ben himself admits he was "reckless", and although he is good-hearted, he may be at the center of the fall of the

Republic. Maybe he becomes envious of Anakin's being "strong" with the force, or perhaps it's jealousy of Anakin and the "Young Queen". Or maybe he_______(George, fill in the blank here) Anyway, I think this kind of stuff opens up the character, and would make his sacrifice in "A New Hope" more heroic and meaningful. (Source: Dave) (SuperShadow: What if Padme develops a crush on Obi-Wan and falls in puppy love with him in Ep. 1? This isn't too far fetched because George had this plot line in an early rough draft of Star Wars. A young female Luke Skywalker fell in love with Han Solo. Of course, George dropped this from the final shooting script. In Ep. 1, Padme might be the young female Luke and Obi-Wan might be the reckless Han character. Of course, Obi-Wan is too young to get involved with Padme in Ep. 1, but it could foreshadow the love triangle that might develop between Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan in Ep 2/3.)

Dark Rumors is the mack daddy of all mack daddies! This site is breathtaking in its scope. Unbelievable! (Source: Frenchy) (SuperShadow: Thanx!!)

Hey SuperShadow, great job on the website. I just checked it out for the first time in about a month and I was disappointed with the Star of Alderaan protest. I don't understand why they believe it is so necessary to show Ewoks in the prequels, and also that they should be shown so flagrantly. They act as though the Ewoks are supposed to be a highly intellectual and influential race.

GIVE ME A BREAK! THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE SPACEFARING CAPABILITY!!!! THEY USED STONE AGE TECHNOLOGIES!!! How can they play the major role in galactic affairs that these SOA guys want them to if they can't even leave their backwater moon? I know what you're saying now, "well if they're so unenlightened, then what about the blasters they used in ROTJ?" I counterpoint with "how hard is it to pull a trigger, especially after seeing someone else doing it?" I think they just want to see the sell out, to see Mr. Lucas throw them in as a novelty where it is not needed.

I say that if Mr. Lucas feels that something is not needed, people should just accept it and not lose sleep over it. It is his movie and his story after all. And lastly, keep up the good work Shadow. You do a great job keeping us guessing at whats to come and I hate you for it (just kidding). Thanks for everything and MTFBWY. (Source: Calistarius6) (SuperShadow: Don't knock your hyperdrive out of whack! You, I and drunk Uncle Al know that George is not going to have any Ewoks in Ep. 1. Take my word on that! Take it to the bank! Ka-Ching!)

You need to smack Mark Hedlund in the head and wake him up! When is he going to start posting some inside dirt on the prequel? I bet he doesn't even know anything. (SuperShadow: Lucasfilm has Marc on a very, very, very tight leash. He is limited in what he can release to the public.)

FINALLY!!!!.......Pallo appreciates R5 as much as I do, hey Pallo....did you know i wrote a story called R5-D4 wars. Shadow,i was wondering if you would post my story on your site,im not kidding.....i really wrote it,and i'll send it and you can see what you think.....and i thought about making a R5 site, with a link on your page im sure I could get lote of hits. glad yall guys are back. May the Force of R5 Be With You! (Source: Barry) (SuperShadow: I received Barry's email about 4 weeks ago . . . Chapters 1 and 2 of R5-D4 Wars have been posted. Enjoy!)

The worst place to work at LFL must be the THX sound division. I mean how boring can that be. All they do is take phone calls from people complaining about crappy theater presentations. You ought to count your lucky stars you work at ILM. It could be worse. Lucas could send you to THX!!!! (Source: Terrence L>) (SuperShadow: Yeah, I guess your right. I'm not sure which is worse: working at THX or working at LucasDitchdigging. I guess if George really wants me to I could dig some ditches. I don't think I would enjoy it though.)

I have a question...in ANH, everybody says Obi-Wan sacrificed himself for Luke and Co. to escape. That's not true! The only reason they were allowed to escape was because Tarkin put a tracker on the Falcon. Obi-Wan was a liar and a punk... (Source: Steve) (SuperShadow: Good point!)

Loads of great preq. info! Great job....I hope that we get to see Mon Mothma in the preq. (Source: Grendel) (SuperShadow: Mothma is about one year older than Padme. It is unlikely that we will see young Mothma in the prequel, but who knows for sure?)

I think a fitting title for Ep.1 would be Star Wars: Genesis. (Source: Mike) (SuperShadow: Don't hold your breath! That sounds more like the rumored title for ST10.)

Geez, the cool posts never let up. You bury us in awesome episode one and star wars stuff! dark side is the best star wars page in history! (SuperShadow: Thanx. Most Star Wars fans would agree with you!)

May I suggest "Guardians of the Republic"? I thought that one sounded especially good. Thanks! (Source: Hunter) (SuperShadow: You can suggest whatever you like, but that will not be the title for the prequel. Sorry.)

Awesome Prequal pictures...Thank you, Shadow! (Source: Visionary) (SuperShadow: You're welcome. We'll post new ones as we get them.)

Why on earth are you guys posting a multi-chaptered story about R5? I mean really. Who cares about him. (Source: Saul T.) (SuperShadow: Hey, Barry loves R5! Give the poor guy a break, please!)

Can you ask George if he denies the rumor that Boba Fett's 'secret' is a veiled reference to his being a "fallen/exiled" Jedi? (Source: Reej) (SuperShadow: George is not answering questions about Fett's appearance in Ep. 2 . . . at the moment.)

Dark Side Prequel Rumors is #1! How on earth do you do it day in and day out! Truly appreciative, (Source: Jedi Turner) (SuperShadow: Takes some hard work on our part to bring you the best in prequel information!)

First off, I have to say your site simply kicks @$$. I found it by luck, and what luck it is. Keep up the good work! Now, what position are you at the Ranch? Does Mr. Lucas know about you and your site? And also I was wondering how he was acting about the death of Mr. Kurosowa...send him my regards. (Source: Ulic Qel-Droma) (SuperShadow: 1. ILM 2. Yes 3. George is saddened by Kurosowa's death.)

Ask George to insert Thrawn into the new film! Cheers! (Source: UK Fan) (SuperShadow: There will be no Thrawn in Ep. 1.)

There seems to be something wrong with your figures... How can international box office gross be less for Ep 4 and 6 than domestic us ? (Source: (Petty) §tu) (SuperShadow: In the old days, U.S. films use to make more domestically than overseas. However, in the 1990's, this has reversed and U.S. films now earn nearly two-thirds of their box-office gross overseas.)

I was reading a book by Peter Moon and there was a mention made to George Lucas and a book he wrote called "Journal of the Will". What is this book? Does George plan on making excerpts available? Now that Akira is gone will the title of Ep.1 take on a "in memory of" theme? "The Seven Jedi" maybe? I think this would be appropriate and fans would appreciate the tie in. Even if the movie "Ran" could share a special Saturday double feature before or after the prequel. I used to love Saturday afternoons at the movies when I was young, and there is nothing much to do on Saturday nowadays, just an idea! My observation is that a lot of young kids have missed that whole myth of the Saturday double feature. I am SO happy about daily updates, I was quite skeptical about the information that would be provided would be disinformation. Thank you for providing good true service to fans! IT (the website and supershadow) ROCKS! (Source: Bevis....) (SuperShadow: The Journal of the Whills is a mythical, non-existant book or series of books, which contains the entire history of the Star Wars galaxy. Most of the history of the Star Wars galaxy exists mainly in George's spiral notebooks. One day George might publish an official Journal of the Whills . . . but that is very, very unlikely.)

Thanks for the info on the sound of Ep. #1...and I am so glad it will continue the familiar, classic themes! Truly serious music for us serious SW and SW sound lovers! (Source: pdh) (SuperShadow: You're welcome. John Williams will do all three soundtracks for the prequels and the opening-crawl theme music will be the same music used in the classic trilogy.)

Cool Episode 1 script. I hope George's is half as good! (Source: Bob D.)(SuperShadow: Thanx.)

I recently picked up The Star Wars Encyclopedia by Stephan J. Sansweet and have a question regarding the timeline in the book. At between 22-20 BBY (battle before Yavin) it lists Anakin Skywalker being seduced by the dark side of the force and becoming Darth Vader and at 18 BBY Luke and Leia being born, 2 years later. Why is there so much time between when Anakin became Vader and when the kids were born? And does this in any way relate to the new movies.P.S.Glad to see your site up and running again! Your friend in the force (Source: Chris) (SuperShadow: It is possible that Padme stays with Anakin even after he turns to the dark side. However, Anakin must do something extremely atrocious or maybe Padme has an affair with Obi-Wan or Fett, etc. that causes the breakup between Padme and Anakin. After this breakup, the Skywalker twins are born.)

Luv this site! (Source: Anonymous) (SuperShadow: Thanx a mill!)

Sorry, I don't have any Star Wars prequel rumors, but I do have a question for you regarding ILM. What does it take for a person like me to get a job like that? I love to work on computers and with graphics and love to imagine and create things. In school I am majoring in multimedia. What kind of schooling was required for you and your team members? What types of degrees are needed? What types of things do you need to know and be able to do to impress people such as Lucas? I believe this is the direction I want to take but have no idea where to begin. Any information you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work.Sincerely, (Source: Cynthia B) (SuperShadow: Please write to the following address for a complete information packet:

Please tell the guys working on Qui-Gon's light saber to make it blue. That would rule! (Source: Travis) (SuperShadow: That decision has already been made by George.)

Under the FAQs section of your web page I read that Lucas had developed the plot lines for nine episodes back in the seventies. I had heard somewhere that the Trilogy of Trilogies was actually written down somewhere by some author, possibly Lucas. I'm confused and so are my Star Wars fanatical friends. Does the Trilogy of Trilogies already exist as books under some mysterious author, or are they all ideas that just popped into Lucas' head in the seventies?? Answer at your leisure; I understand that you and your associates are busy with Ep 1 and the web page and other daily chores. Much appreciated: (Source: George) (SuperShadow: No such book or publication exists.)

Spectacular site (bet you get tired of hearing that :))! Just wanted to say that I hope you guys are left alone from the powers that be from now on. Good luck at ILM! (SuperShadow: You can never receive too many compliments. Take care, friend!)

Where is your site? (Source: The Lost Boy) (SuperShadow: We're out there just keep searching! The Force WILL be with you!)

The new film want be complete without Chewie. You could put him in the background of one of the scenes you working on and Lucas would never know! Do it shadow! You're the man! (SuperShadow: George would kick me to high heaven if I pulled a stunt like that . . . It is tempting to think about though.)

Vespon mentioned that the STAP vehicle could actually be PATS for Personal Attack Transport System. In that case the blurry toy package (see attached file) that has appeared on numerous prequel-sites would be a phony, because it clearly reads STAP on the back.Which of the two is incorrect? (Source:-Jeroen) (SuperShadow: How many photos of bigfoot, UFO's, Yeti, the Loch Ness monster, etc. have turned out to be legitimate? BEWARE of what you read and see on the Net. Thought I would give you these fan rumors to dwell on this weekend. Enjoy!

I have read the book:STAR WARS The Essential Guide To Planets And Moons. I will write ALL of what it says.OssusSystem: Adega system Terrian: Canyons, mountainsSpecies: Many alien Jedi, Ysanna, humans Languages: Classical Ossan, Ysanna Points of Interest: Great Jedi Library, Knossa spaceport The Jedi Knights, legendary defenders of freedom, safeguarded the Old Republic for over a thousand generations. Though the truth has been obscured by the passage of twenty-five thousand years, many historians believe that the first members of that acient warroir fellowship originally came from mystical, glorious planet of Ossuss.

The third planet orbiting the twin Adegan suns, Ossuss was once a rich, thriving training center and a repository of priceless Jedi lore. Knights and Masters from a thousand species and a million worlds mingled freely, sharing their knowledge and furthering the causes of peace, justice, and the Jedi Code. From the bustling Knossa spaceport to the peaceful Gardens of Talla, Ossus shone with life energy and the light side of the Force. (Source: Raven) (SuperShadow: That's some very interesting info. However, I haven't heard the name "Ossuss." If it's in Ep. 1, then that will be news to me . . . Maybe, George will make mention of this world somewhere in the prequels.)

Who cast Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and why was he chosen for the role? Is it true that Mark Hamill recorded music in the 70's? Why did Mark Hamill's look change so drastically from innocent in the original Star Wars to enlightened warrior in Return of the Jedi? episode 2 should be the film with the most action in it. In theis film, the evil senator palpatine instigates the much anticipated CLONE WARS in order to undermine the already fragile republic. With an army of clones and a mysterious alliance with the Mandalorian warriors, Palpatine launches one of the greatest wars in history.

With the Jedi Knights spread thin throughout the galaxy, Palpatine uses bribery and deceit to corrupt the Old Republic.Anakin Skywalker is a Jedi apprentice under Obi-Wan Kenobi and ultimately meets and falls in love with the young queen of Naboo, Padme Amidala. The Jedi Knights, led by perhaps Quin Gonn-Jinn, face off with the Mandalorian super commandos(including Boba Fett) on Boba Fetts home planet of Concord Dawn. There the climactic battle of the Clone Wars is fought in a Braveheart-like battle that could be described as the Gettysburg of the Clone Wars.

Ultimately, Anakin helps the Jedi defeat the Mandalorians and becomes a full-fledged Jedi Knight and marries Queen Padme at the conclusion of Episode 2. Somewhere during the film, some sort of close relationship may begin to develop between Obi-wan and the young queen and maybe even Palpatine and Anakin(allowing Palpatine to eventually seduce Anakin with the darkside). Also, Obi-wan will be revealed to be a clone because the Jedi's ranks are being depleted by the long, drawn out bloody clone wars and they use clone technology to reinforce their numbers in order to stand a chance against palpatines forces. (Source: ulic qel-droma Bevis) (SuperShadow: If you watch the introductory piece that accompanies Star Wars ANH Special Edition on video. You can actually see some of the actual audition tape that features Mark Hamill. George chose Mark from a casting cattle call of thousands . . . No one knows if the Mandalorian will actually be seen in Ep. 1. Perhaps, we will see Mandalorian clones . . . A love triangle involving Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme has been rumored for quite some time.)

Question for 'ya: How will the Prequels give new perspectives and meanings to the Original Trilogy? Any aspects in particular or in general that you can mention? (Source: af) (SuperShadow: George will add facts about certain events in the prequels that will change our perception of what we thought we knew about the classic trilogy.)

Will we find new spacecrafts/battleships in the ep 1..and is there a type of TIE defender or advance..? as we know that both of the type was made in the 5 & 6 episode and will the type of spaceship/spacecrafts similar to the starwars games..like rebelion or the others..? (Source: Joseph) (SuperShadow: Almost all the vehicles that will appear in Ep 1 will be ones that have never been seen before in a Star Wars movie.)

Your script for the prequal may be great, but I hope it is not much like the film we will be seeing. Cheers! (Source: Dominique) (SuperShadow: My script is based on many of the rumors that have been spread on the internet. Some of my script will prove to be accurate . . . too accurate. Whereas other portions of my script are completely false.)

I don't have a rumor (they're all ways full of it) or a comment. but I have a question: where do they do the casting for the prequals???????? (Source: Donald) (SuperShadow: I don't know. I don't have anything to do with that. Robin Gurland is in charge of casting for the prequels.)

R5-D4 wars?!? How do we even know that R5 type droids were even manufatured back then? (SuperShadow: Good question. R5 may or may not be in the prequels.)

I heard from an unknown source that the prequel trailer will be seen with Star Trek 9, which is supposed to come out this November. Is there any validity to this or is this just another rumor? I really enjoy the news bits that you email to all the hard core Star Wars fans, keep up the good job. (Source: Kris N.) (SuperShadow: As of today, that rumor is 100% false.)

Awesome page! You anonymous guys blow the internet away. (Source: Vince) (SuperShadow: Hey, thanx!)

Personally, I think that the title should be "Rise Of The Jedi" (Source: Mike) (SuperShadow: We'll just have to wait and see.)

Keep up the tres bon updates! The Dark Side rulz ! ! ! (Source: Jedi Force) (SuperShadow: Your adulations are appreciated.)

I was wondering if you knew what one would need to do to see Episode I at the Hollywood Premire. Is it even possible? (Source: Adrian P.) (SuperShadow: I won't be at the L.A. premiere of Ep. 1, but I will get to see an advanced screening of the film with other LFL employees.)

The almighty SuperShadow: First, I would like to thank your neverending energy that you put forth into your work. It keeps me up to date on all the happenings of my favorite subject. Second, I would like to know if you have heard of anything on the rumor of Nathan Hamill being the older version of Anakin Skywalker. While surfing the other day, my friend and I came upon an article that read something to the effect that Nathan Hamill (son of Mark Hamill) would replace Jake Lloyd in Episodes two and three. I believe this article was on Cinescape's site. It was old information but I have not heard one way or the other since. If you have any info on this subject, please send it to me. Greatfully yours, (Source: Red leader) (SuperShadow: Nathan Hamill has a cameo in Ep. 1. No one has been cast for the older Anakin Skywalker. I'm not sure if Nathan is in the running for that role.)

Have a great weekend!

Dark Ocean: Shadow is too busy adding CG Ugnaughts to the Galactic Senate scenes today to post your email. So hold on as I take up the slack!

Something consistently bugs me everytime I watch the original Trilogy. It seems that C3-P0 tends to lie a bit. How come when he sees R2 talking to Leia in the beginning of Star Wars, he acts as though he didn't? And then he acts as though he has no idea what the tape is or who the woman is when Luke sees it? Of course (!) he would know who the Princess is and what she looks like ("There will be no escape for the Princess this time." he says at the beginning of the movie.).

She made public appearances to the Rebels, and probably on a regular basis! I could write an essay regarding my theory about the golden-rod, but I'll keep it short... In Star Wars Episode 1, it is rumored that has the voice of a used-car salesman (doesn't it make reference to this in the book Star Wars?) and that he is See-through. In other words, for some odd reason, the Rebels gave him a complete make-over. Why? Because he knows a hell of a lot more than he leads people to believe. Perhaps too much. At Cloud City, he was lead into a room that had a droid of the same model as he coming out of it. Coaxing him further was the sound of an R2 unit. Coincidence? I think not.

As far as I'm concerned, he was purposefully tempted into the firing squad of Storm Troopers. The Empire wanted him dead. Perhaps he knew Luke was Darth's son. He's been in the scenario for a very long time. I also believe that the argument that entaled between R2 and 3P0 regarding which direction to go on Tatooine was more important than we know. R2 probably knew where Ben lived, and wanted to go there for guidance with the situation. 3P0 wanted to go to Luke to see if the Imperials had a chance of finding out about Luke being hidden there. They both had their secret agendas. 3P0 was probably saying to himself,"Oh Damn...R2 has dropped us on the planet where we've hidden Luke! What are the odds?".

Also, whenever anything is said that is relevant to Luke/Darth, we always then see a reaction shot from 3P0, kinda like "Luke's going to figure out about Darth!" I could go on, but you get the idea, 3P0 is kinda' a look-out care taker, kinda like Uncle Owen, to prevent Luke and Leia from discovering the truth. He knows way too much and therefore is in hiding....next time you watch "A New Hope", keep it in mind. Some of my friends thought I was crazy until they watched it again. Now they think the evidence is justified and intentionally represented in the film(s). (Source: Graymattr) (Dark Ocean: C3PO was probably programmed by Leia not to reveal any knowledge of herself or her mission to strangers just as R2 was programmed to only reveal his holographic message to Obi-Wan. I don't believe 3PO consciously lied to anyone.)

Here's a rumor from a reliable source: Watch "A New Hope" and pay very close attention to R2 throughout the movie. Either R2 is incredibly lucky or he has the ability to use the force. An example would be when R5's motivator blows up. R2 has a restaining bolt on and knows he isn't going to make it to Obi-wan as long as it stays intact with him. So, using the force he blows R5's motivator and sends thoughts to C3PO that makes C3PO suggest that Luke and Owen take "That one" (meaning R2). --C3PO even wonders why he stuck his neck out for R2 afterwards. R2 once inside of Luke's home plays a trick on Luke.

He plays a small part of Liea's message and tells C3PO (who translates) that the restraining bolt has short circuited his recording system and if it is removed R2 might be able to play back the entire message.( This tricks Luke into removing the restraining bolt from R2---also C3PO can't go after him because his restrining bolt is still on!) So now R2 is free to go to Obi-wan. Now you're probably asking how does R2 know where Obi-wan is------------------He can sense his presence in the force!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Source: CCarro63) (Dark Ocean: This is an extremely old rumor that we posted on the site a few months ago. According to George, if a droid can develop a low-level of sentience, then that droid can also develop rudimentary skills in the Force. Did R2 use the Force? Probably not, but only George knows for sure.)

I recently heard something from a VERY reliable source about a week ago. To top it off, I then remember seeing something about it when i was browsing through different pages at four in the morning. I don't recall the page. Anyway, my source apparently has a friend that is somehow affiliated with Lucasfilm. He's pretty touchy about his identity being unveiled, so I really couldn't find out what department he's in... although after hearing this I would assume he is in the casting department. So, to the juice. This guy, we'll call him Zed, was "scouting" for actors in Episode Two. Whether, at the time of this discovery, he was actually scouting or not is in question. Anyway, he came upon a short film at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

This was only a two minute short mind you. The main character of this short caught Zed's eye. "It was his eyes that caught me. He is Anakin." That's right... he's talking about the casting of the older Anakin for Episodes Two and Three!! While confessing that he, at first, was not impressed with the short film he apparently tried to get a hold of him. He's not a student. Eventually he found him working in Madison after asking people that were involved in the film. His name: Ken Miyamoto. I think I spelled that right. They sat down together, along with some other people, and Ken apparently did an improv that blew them away!

I think Zed was on vacation or something because he said that he would not be able to contact Lucasfilm until the next week. I'm trying to get some photos of this actor. I think he has a talent agent in Wisconsin or is about to move to California, because Zed said that he had some proffessionals. He was ecstatic! "He knew the part. He did some of the most impressive improvs I've seen! However, he's an unknown. No prior work. But George has never let that stop him... look at Dreyfuss. I know that this kid has a very good chance of meeting George soon," Zed apparently said in a nutshell. So that's it. Like I said, I'll try to get some pics soon. ---- (Source: The Wisconsin Badger) (Dark Ocean: The casting has not yet begun for Ep. 2 so your "alleged" insider info. is inaccurate to say the least.)

I am 26 years old and a huge fan of the original trilogy. This new script is incredible! I am absolutely counting the days until this next one comes out. God bless you, George Lucas. (Source: Scott Unes) (Dark Ocean: Your words are too kind. Lucasfilm thanks you for your love of George's creation.)

Just a few quetions...private ones... what does shadow do at ILM..? and is it hard to wrok there...? I'm a product designer..( still an undergraduate student =D) and for a long time...dreamed to work at a place like ILM ( as I see in the ILM book..) ...and in what specialities is your major..? making models..? CG/ animations..? ar anything else..? Well..just this for now..thanks and may the force be with you.. (Source: Yoseph) (Dark Ocean: No one is sure what constructive activities (if any) SuperShadow actually does at ILM. But when not cruising for babes in his '75 Carribean-yellow AMC Gremlin, he/she/Jon Bon Jovi/it has been known to waste precious LFL resources creating digitally-animated versions of South Park characters like Mr. Hanky the Jedi Poo.)

Team Leader- Some thoughts after reading other submissions: Boba Fett - First, I think it would be cool if "he" is actually a "she." Although you made a point about the Lara Croft aspects as well as Boba concealing her gender by "scamming" on chicks in Jabba's Palace, I still think it would be cool if she was a you-know-what. It's the 90's! Get with it people! Additionally, Boba says in a male voice to Vader in Lando's Cloud City something to the efffect of "He is no good to me dead" when plotting to freeze Solo in carbonite.

Although some might say this is proof that Boba is male, one must not forget that Leah disguised her voice to be male-like in her Bounty Hunter armor during the rescue of Solo at Jabba's palace. Thus, the technology is definately there and Georgie boy can keep everything consistent. Moive Price - Movie prices go up every couple of years. However, if they price it too high coupled with a limited release, there will be no way in catching up with Titanic. I know that isn't the mission per se of this movie, but I'm sure it is in the back of George's mind. Also, the main reason why certian movies make a lot of dough is repeat customers (duh).

I don't mind shelling out 10 bucks to see #1 once, but after that I will wait to see it again on video (assuming of course that they will keep it at that high price through its run at the theaters). Merchandising - If you want to look at where Georgie makes his dough, it is in merchandising. Titanic will never be able to match up in this area. Think of all the new stuff comming out over the next few years. Also, I read somewhere that Lucas kept a majority of his merchandising rights, where other creators/producers/directors/etc (like Stevie boy) sold a significant percentage of his rights away. Drat! I was hoping to get a Saving Private Ryan action figure where the right arm blows up and falls off. J/K!!!!! It was a great movie.Keep up the good work! (Source: Red 44) (Dark Ocean: Shadow says that he/she/Jeniffer Love Hewitt/it is willing to surrender his/her "profit" participation in Ep. 1 if George will reveal in Ep. 2 that Fett is actually two Jawas standing on top of each other. George is mulling over Shadow's offer as we speak.)

Darkside, we're all buddies of George! I wouldn't read the script if I had the chance, because I want the experience of seeing that movie in a cozy theatre seat, with a steaming bucket of pocorn in my hand. Ep 1 is going to be a major turning point for movies, and I see no reason to ruin it by reading the script. Who would do such a thing? Any website I see advertising ANY form of script for Ep 1 is a website I avoid! Imagine if the climactic end to "The Empire Strikes Back" had been spoiled before the movie had been released? What a nightmare. Loyal Lucas Fan, (Source: Matt Edwards) (Dark Ocean: Let's be honest, Matt. There's not a SW fan out there that wouldn't read the script if given the opportunity. There's no way you could resist bragging to all your friends that you know the REAL plot line to the most anticipated film of all time!)

Hey it's me again. I'm the guy with the 3PO theory. Oh, and by the way, was it the same 3PO that told Luke (when asked of his experiences) " There's not much to tell.", but ten minutes earlier exclaimed "No more adventures!!", etc. Hmmmmmm. Anyway, I just want to set the record straight for some of the rather confused individuals who seem to show any form of appreciation for our furry little non-friends, the Ewoks. Not only did the Ewoks ruin ROTJ, but they had potential (but thank the maker they didn't) to ruin the whole Star Wars Trilogy.

Maybe they need to make a Return of the Jedi Very Special Edition. My main problem is not their furriness and cuteness, nor their appeal, but rather that they look sooo da*n fake. The action figure two-pack looks more realistic. Take a look next time you're at Toys-R-Us. They should have stuck with the Wookie-thing that they were originally gonna do (hence the Star Wars Holiday Special; Wookies living in tree-houses). Shadow, if they had Wookies instead of Ewoks, then the Circle would truly be complete. C'mon. Anyway, next time some person you're sitting with sees the Ewok/Leia seen and says "Oh! How cute!", just turn to them and say proudly "Wookies." That'll go over real well, especially on a date. --(Source: Slave Chewie) (Dark Ocean: No one knows whether George will ever go back and digitally retouch certain scenes once the prequels have come and gone. It would be a safe bet to assume that he is not quite finished touching up the classic trilogy.)

I was reading some email from a few weeks ago, about bobba fett being awoman. Well, knowing george Lucas, I wouldn't be surprised if Bobba is Padme!! She probably didn't know Who Luke was, and that's why she went after him in ROTJ, or maybe, she became bobba so she could help her husband:) And, to that person who was complaining about Ep1 ticket prices... I'd pay $20 just to get to see the movie opening day, any real fan should be willing to spend their extra money on movie tickets!! (Source: Jedi-Rob) (Dark Ocean: Fett might be a female, but it is almost certain that Fett is not Padme.)

Hey supershadow, do you mind if I use /link some of your interviews in my Star wars page? (http://come.to/trilogy.com) I'll give you and your page full credit, and a good size link (if you want it) in my links page.Let me know. (Source: Rob) (Dark Ocean: You can use anything you find on this page without asking for permission first. Just provide a link back to us with whatever you decide to use on your page.)

I was searching around my computer and i found a star wars icon i used to have that i got from a friend who made it and i knew you would like it......dont worry ,there arent any viruses or any other crap attached, scan it if you want or dont even download it if you think its one,but i assure you its just aicon. And by the way,R5-D4 Wars has been completed. Think i could get Bantam to publish it? HA HA. (Source: Barry) (Dark Ocean: Yeah, that's all the world needs is yet another Star Wars icon!)

Since six horses were killed in the making of that stupid Heaven's Gate, that film deserved to be a flop. Now, George Lucas, a Jedi Knight, would NEVER do that...he and his creations are kind to all living things...as for Ep. 1 being a flop--keines Wegs!! (Source: pdh) (Dark Ocean: It is highly unlikely that Ep. 1 will bomb. In fact, it is probably impossible at this point.)

You know something, I have been curious. For the longest time I have wondered what ships would be in the prequels. And I mean all the ships, the capital ships the fighters, the freighters, the transports, all that stuff. And since you work with the CGI stuff you might be able to tell me. Just a curiousperson. Thanks, (Source: Joe) (Dark Ocean: The vast majority of the vehicles that you will see in Ep. 1 will be new. However, we will see Wicket piloting a familiar-looking Corellian freighter . . . oooops! Maybe, I shouldn't have let that slip!)

I am wondering if Obi-Wan or Anakin's lightsabers are the same as the one Luke and Obi-Wan had in Star Wars or did they make all new lightsabers for the prequels? And if I may ask since you work with Mr. Lucas anyway I could get you to get me a autograph as it is the only one I need to complete my collection I would gladly pay you for your efforts. Thanks (Source: Mike Wells) (Dark Ocean: While George wishes he had the time to sign thousands of autographs each day, he is too busy these days to sign any autographs. Drop by the ranch late next summer and George should have some free time then. Thanx!)

According to Ben, the Force exists in every living thing. But except for Yoda, all Jedi are human. Why are there not any Jedi from other races, such as Jawa, Wookie, Noghri, Hutt...? You say that nothing is official until we see it on the screen, but what about the computer games (which are, after all, made by LucasArts) and the official books (and magazines)? Are the light-saber wielding characters in Dark Forces II Dark Jedi? (Source: §tu) (Dark Ocean: Believe me. There are many, many, many non-human Jedi Knights seen in the prequels. Heck, we might even see a Jedi droid or two!)

Supershadow, I'm the girlfriend of the guy who calls himself "Slave Chewie". Although he will read this, and drinks alot, I feel that I must tell you something...he works for I.L.M. He's at work this very moment, and tells me everything that he has done during the day. He has told you more than he has told me!!-- (Source: Jedi Dawn) (Dark Ocean: Drinks alot? Man, it sounds like your describing Shadow (except for the bit about actually "working" when he/she/Jackie Chan/it is at ILM) :) Thanx for the info!)

Hey, it's me, Slave Chewie. I don't work for ILM and I don't know why my "girlfriend" wrote that. I just have insights, that's all... (Source: Slave Chewie) (Dark Ocean: O.K. Thanx for clearing that up! So you drink alot there do you, Chewie? The strange things we learn about Star Wars fans!! Strange indeed. According to the pic Jedi Dawn sent us, it looks like she weighs about 400 pounds, you certainly have more than a handful with that woman! Take care!)

I'm outta here! C Ya!

Shadow has the day off from answering the e-mail so please bare through my attempt to match Shadow's wit ;p:

I'm concerned about these changes that Lucas will "have hell to pay". I know so many fans who know the films line by line and if he changes some of the fundamental aspects of the films it could affect "repeat" ticket buyers who would be outraged at what he had done they would not go again. All though I will say that if he changes things in the books it won't effect loyalty any where near as much as if he changes elements of the movies. Do you have any ideas on what these changes might be? Are they going to be subtle or major? I personnally don't care about the books. I do care about the movies. Just wanted your thoughts. Source: Phil Florida) (Eon: Drastic changes to the original trilogy will be coming. George has promised to do so in a past issue of the Star Wars Insider. How drastic will the changes be? Prepare yourself for the unexpected. Many of the changes will be shocking)

shadow your script is superb. it make sense and could be plausible. i hope you'll write ep 2 and 3 one day. (Source: Red Wulfer) (Eon: When asked if he will ever write his own version of Ep 2 and 3, Shadow has been quoted as saying: "Writing my version of Ep. 1 was an extremely exhausting experience. It's time for me to move on to other projects. However, I have not ruled out the possiblity of writing my own version of Ep. 2 some day.")

The newsletter cool....with each edition you change my perspective of this site and the prequel trilogy in general....thanks a million.... (Source: Codor) (Eon: You're welcome!)

Yeah, I heard the whole thing's been delayed by a year coz GL wants all these far out things done which are impossible by current technology. Would one of those things be the digital dubbing of new character names after GL changes his mind about what a character's going to be called? (Source: Mike Duffy) (Eon: Changing names is very easy. All he has to do is marginally re-work the lip movements of the actors. It's not that big of a deal. Don't expect George to change many of those names. The more we say we dislike some of them; the more stubborn he becomes in keeping them. If he likes the sound of a name and gets use to it, he figures the fans will too. Yaddle. Always makes me think of Fiddle Faddle . . . I need to go get a snack.)

hey, great guys! you've inspired me to make a site of my own. mine will feature a character datalink that gives the FULL history (according to me) of the characters we will see in the prequel. thanx for the inspiraction! (Source: Horgo, i will send you the site address soon when i'm up and running. long live your site!!!!!) (Eon: We're glad to have inspired you! That makes our day! Good luck. If you need any help, just let us know!!)

Hello SuperShadow and everyone Hope this finds you all doing well. I have been glad to receive your updates via e mail while your site is reorganized. I've been checking Dark Side periodically to see if it is back up yet, but alas, no luck yet. There has been some interesting stuff on the net lately, and feel a bit cheated by your 'higher-ups' that I have not been able to enjoy your (collective) commentary on the subjects. No revelations or commentary in this mail, just wanted to say I am looking forward to your return. (Source: Whilljournalist - Remember to keep up with Episode 1 at The Whill Journal) (Eon: Great page there Whill! We're back up and running. We generally won't comment on rumors posted on other websites because when we do they get P.O.'ed and start spreading yet ANOTHER round of lies about us. Just be careful what you read on other sites. They have proven extremely unreliable in the past. Reader beware!!!)

I have a new lookin' SW creature that I created for episode one. It's too big for me to get it out of my bedroom and the pictures I take of it look like crap. Could Mr. Lucas come by my house and take a look at it and see if it could be put in the prequels somewhere? Your fan (Source: Gary Y.) (Eon: Unfortunately, George is too busy at the moment to make personal replies to the fans. We applaud your love of Star Wars!)

You just send me those 40-50 emails you get each day to me and I'll go through them for you. At my last job I had to go through 1,000 emails, in a day and write replies, no kidding! How does one become a janitor at ILM? ;) Your site rocks. (Source: Bevis) (Eon: Hey, that's a cool offer, but we read and answer our own email. See ya!)

I know it's kind of early to start debating what we will see in the last episode of the new trilogy. But I would like to see Han and Chewie in the final episode. I was thinking if you would start mentioning this right now then by the time production of the final one rolls around. My idea will be ingrained in his head. Ask George each day if Han and Chewie are in Episode Three. Your're great guys! (Source: Han's Buddy) (Eon: I started to ask George about Ep 3 and he started to choke me. So maybe, it's not a good idea to get too far ahead of ourselves. I'll keep your idea in mind though . . . )

I was wondering, do you know if the Noghri will be in Ep.1? If you don't know what the Noghri are, they were in the Thrawn novels. :-)(Source: Bloodhound) (Eon: Haven't see any Noghri costumes or CG versions either, but maybe George will sneak them into a background scene. Who knows?)

yeah, well I finally got done reading your script. Real cool! You got talent! (Source: Estern East) (Eon: Shadow will be glad to read your comment!)

I heard that you know George Lucas. (Keep reading I'm not a freak). Do you know anything about the prequels no one else knows? If so can you tell me. Just a tad of info. would help. Thanx (Source:- Vader69) (Eon: Keep reading the page for insider info., but don't expect to ever see the final shooting script for Ep 1 posted on this page (until after the film comes out next May)!)

I've recently started reading the Star Wars novels and I was wondering what the true deal is about continuity. Are these novels really a part of Lucas' Star Wars Universe, Outside it, or a combination of the two? I realize that GL can do whatever he whants with Star Wars (and I'm sure we all will be outright shocked at the revalations EP1 present us!) but what's up? Does GL realize that some of the stuff out there ____S!, while other books fit extremely well within the Universe? (Source: BK-421) (Eon: The novels are canon unless George contradicts them in the new films.)

Just wanted to say what an awesome page you guys have built......WOW!WOW!WOW!WOW! (Source: Justin) (Eon: Thanks a million.)

About Fett being a chick - in the sepcial ed. of Jedi, there is a scene where one of the female dancers comes up to Fett and he/she caresses her face! Fett's a you-know-what?! (Source: Dave) (Eon: I don't want to get involved in this debate. Shadow hopes that Fett will turn out to be Cindy Crawford. Personally, I want Fett to be Jaster Mareel.)

What a readable version of the prequel you have concocted! I'll read it again soon! (Source: Rod) (Eon: Again, Shadow is thankful for your kind words.)

Is it possible that we will see a young Lobot in the prequels! (Source: Orbital Bliss) (Eon: Since Lobot is old enough to appear in the prequels, he might just "pop" in somewhere.)

Surprise! Anakin, Obi-Wan and Qui are all three brothers! (I have inside proof!) (Source: Bald Ewok) (Eon: Thanx for the insider info!)

I heard that Pearl Jam will be doing a companion CD soundtrack for Lucsfilm. (Source: P.J. Fever) (Eon: That sounds more like wishful thinking from an Eddie Vedder fan than reality)

I find the scenarios for Indy 4 listed on your site intriguing. However, not many of them are plausible. I don't know where you'd like to list this, if at all, but I thought I'd contribute my knowledge. Most of the listed scenarios would fall into the category of "Young Indy" for the simple reason that they do not adhere to the themes of I and III. Gambits in China, lost relics of the Temple of Ra and Stonehenge mythologies are not stuff Indy pictures are made of. Moreover, magical X-file type stories, such as Atlantis and Hollow Earth, should be discounted. Additionally, artifacts like Excalibur and Alexander's shield, inventions in themselves, are nowhere attributed with magical powers.

Given the failure of Indy II, you can bet on the following characteristics: 1. The adventure wil take place in a foreign country (not like the Fountain of Youth Scenario); 2. The adventure will involve Judeo/Christian mythology. 3. The story must include some physical relic that makes Indy's archeological background material. The two that strike me as the most plausible are the "Garden of Eden" and "Final Secrets of God" storylines. In particular, the latter would provide certain conclusion to the epic. The "Shroud of Turin" is out, as it has been proven to be a late 12th century fake. (And, for your information, the shroud was not used to wrap the body of Christ, but to wipe his face of sweat during his climb to Golgotha). "Firewall of Diversion" is interesting in it's use of Indy as an old man, but without a more descriptive story invention, it must be discounted as speculation. Please respond with any comments; I welcome theoretical discussions of the next Indy storyline. With Knowledge (Source: Michael Moon) (Eon: Indy 4 will probably be out by May 2001.)

Best prequel site on the net! Your prequel news is second to none!(Source: Nador) (Eon: We appreciate the compliment.)

Hey...this rumour is probably useless but I just felt like writing you.........the last movie (I'm pretty sure about this) contains the fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin...when Obi-wan knocks Anakins sorry self in the pit o' lava! (Source: X.R. The Glass Master) (Eon: That rumor is over 15 years old and originates from the novelization of ROTJ.)

This page is too cool for words! Keep the updates coming! Bi-bi! (Source: Kraven) (Eon: Daily updates should continue until Ep 3 comes out May 2005!)

so far the script seems fairly boring and lacking in the original 3 movies fanatsy and lore. Perhaps it is simply because i'm reading it and not watching it, or maybe because Master Lucas has stated that this film will be somewhat darker than the originals. At any rate I do look forward to the month of May 1999!!! (Source: jedi wannabe) (Eon: The script is Shadow's version of Ep 1 and not the one George is using.)

I hope George has a 100% computer-made cantina sequence in this new film. It would make up for the fake looking Star Wars sequence. (Source: John Thomas) (Eon: You might just see something like that on Tatooine.)

just a few quetions...private ones... what do you do at ILM..? and is it hard to work there...? I'm a product designer..( still an undergraduate student =D) and for a long time...dreamed to work at a place like ILM ( as I see in the ILM book..) ...and in what specialities is your major..? making models..? (Source: Yoseph) (Eon: If you're interested in working at ILM, you need to visit ILM and Lucasfilm's official websites.)

There is so much stuff packed into your site that I have been reading for hours and can't get through it all. Thanx for this super site! Lucas must be proud of your work. (Source: Yeti the Jedi) (Eon: We work pretty hard to bring you the best prequel site.)

Shmi Skywalker and Beru Lars are sisters and C-3po knows them while artoo and Anakin kick some stuff up! (Source: Oasis) (Eon: We'll have to wait and see on that one.)

How many rumors do you guys have posted on this site? I think my head is foing to explode from too much information. It's still pretty kickin' (Source: Cravins Run) (Eon: We lost count when we hit 53,523 rumors!)

Hello and thanks for runnning this site. My name is George Eppler and I live in Wasilla, Alaska. I have always loved Star Wars as much as most of the civilized world and hold it dear to my heart. It reminds me of my youth and memories of a simpler time oflife. I have a few questions regarding filming in my home state of Alaska. I currently work in the Oil Field, but have always dreamnt of changing careers into entertainment. I have written a few short stories and am a very decent artist.

I have just begun to explore my dream of achieving some creative outlet that actually can feed my family too. Any suggestions would be most welcomed and appreciated. As for Boba Fett. Even as a child I claimed he was a she. I thought the voice was so robotic and fake sounding. I once thought the wookie braid he had was his own long blond hair. How about this though, either he's Han Solo's father. A clone of Obi wan, or perhaps Obi wan is the clone of him? Or, finally, Yoda's long lost uncle.....Joda. :) Thanks....
