THX-Disciple: On his Tues, Sept. 29, morning radio talk show Howard Stern lambasted Star Wars geeks (as he calls them) for criticizing George's choice of title for the upcoming Phantom Menace movie. While reading the current news, Robin Quivers, Stern sidekick, noted that Lucasfilm had announced the long-awaited title of the new SW film on the internet. Robin noted that some fans were criticizing the title because it sounded too comic-bookish. Stern commented that George releases all his prequel related news vis a vis the internet first. Additionally, Stern stated that George was finally giving the fans a new film after more than 15 years and all the fans can do is turn around and criticize George for his selection of title. It appears that Howard Stern is on George's side :)
