Desserts are a very important part to a complete Indian meal. The most common of the Indian Dessert is the "Kheer", made from different ingredients. It can be made from sago, rice, vermicelli or broken wheat. It may also be flavored with Elaichi[caramom] and/or Kesar[saffron]. Some sweets are also topped of with Varq[edible silver foil] that is used as a garnish.
