Seventh Son is the first book in the Alvin Maker series. I don't think it is as good as a few of Card's other books, but this is still very good. It is a very wierd book and the words are different, but it's still a excellent book. Unlike other fantasy, usually in Europe, this takes place in America. I definately recommend this Seventh Son, as well as the others in the series, to all readers.
